Honestly, I've never had problems with space before on a HD. I don't know if it's Vista or the fact the HD was salvaged from an eMachine that died rather abruptly.

I do have an external drive that I use to save stuff like my music and such, but for things I need to use actively? Doesn't help. Eh, Newegg has been having some interesting sales, might pick one up soon from there.

On a more on topic note, I've given into my writing bug and starting to write up my own take on DA, should be interesting when I finally get to just meeting Alistair in Ostagar. :happy:

Edit: And crud, TOP. Er, crud. I give up, I really can't get a darn image to post. I'll try to work on it in the future.

Or not, I R Dumb and can't get an image up.

With me, it's all toolset and graphics stuff that accumulates. I swap them out yearly, pretty much. And keep the old ones for backup file storage

 There's one more thing you can do. Reinstall the game. It will solve all your problems for sure if you don't install the Awakening patch, Awakening, or anything after. It will probably solve your problem if you install up to but not including witch hunt. There is a possibility that your problem will be solved it you install everything, but I wouldn't do that.

I thought about that, but it was fine even after the patch hit. And Steam will automatically patch it on installation anyhow. I'm half tempted to go buy the darned disks themselves and install it that way but I'll lose all my DLC that came with the steam version.

What do you mean by DLC that came with Steam?  DLC is attached to your account, so as long as you've purchased it before, you should be able to reaccess all DLC on the PC version without purchasing it again, so long as you sign in with the same user account.  At least that's how it works as far as I know it.

Im sorry you're having problems.  Have you deleted your blob file on Steam? Have you validated your game files?

I only played it once. It made me feel bad killing the NPCs I liked.  I will need to do it one more time for one achievement but after that, no more.

Hehe, thanks. I'm only up to, er 3 pages, and not even at Ostagar yet.

@ errant_knight: Yeah, I can see how toolset and graphics stuff will do it. I've taken a look at my hard drive and realized it's from lots and lots of saved games from ME1 & 2 and DA, not even taking into account the amount of space the games themselves take up.

Which is why I harden him, let him kill Loghain, and give him the throne solo.
Maybe he'll meet a nice girl.

Hopefully one who can get Morrigan out of his mind. Cause damn when I played my CE who romanced him I was fuming during the DR. I think I get into my PCs heads to much.
Than again my CE was very possesive so that could have jumped to me.

Nothing says FAIL at the LM like getting beat down by little girl half your size, and a quarter your age.

I got the Digital Deluxe edition on Steam, If I remember right there was DLC included in it that wasn't included with the boxed version.

P.S. I just saw that it's Steam?  I'm swearing off Steam forever.  Every time Steam updates, The Witcher goes AWOL.  Won't open.  I followed all their instructions to teach the firewall to like it etc., and nothing.  I'm well into a Witcher game and I might just have to give up and get it on disk.

I actually haven't had any steam related problems, and with our frequent moving it's entirely convenient for me.

Theres something in your Steam Files called the Blob File. It regenerates itself after you delete it. Sometimes it gets corrupted.
