@ Melca36 - I always thought Maric would've been better off handing Alistair to Bryce Cousland and not just because he's my main warden's father. The impression I got was that the Couslands treated those of "lower birth" better than most nobles. I could be wrong, but when I was doing the CE origin, from random comments it seemed like most elves preferred Highever's alienage.

Same here. Especially some of the modded scenes really make things seem special. I don't know which mod has it, but there's one that adds in secret scenes for I believe a female warden and Alistair romance, not sure if it's all romances, but I did the one for my HNF. I thought that was one of the sweetest things ever.

Hm, I'm in danger of losing my reputation of being cold hearted individual if this keeps up.

He'll probly get Cailans armor right before the landsmeet since Jaina's making him King with Anora queen.  She's soooo the type that would suggest it to Anora and tell her straight up she'd still be in a relationship with him...rofl

I usually stick him into Cailan's armor whenever I hit RtO on my Warden, but blue, silver and black is my favorite color combination and the Warden Commander armor is the closest I get to that.

Hmm, really need to start mucking with the toolset to see if I can come up with an armor appearance I like with the stats of the Battle Dress of the Provacateur.

So I wanted to test my instructions for Rak on adding Awakening to the toolset, and while I was there I figured 'why not take a picture of Alistair and Anders going off to kill something together?' I slapped on a couple of random animations and...that's not what this looks like at all.
Just look at Alistair!


And Anders doesn't look any happier....



That's going to take some tweaking.

Love it! That is so totally Alistair.

And I really needed the laugh, I finally did the US ending and Alistair looked like someone gutted him.

However, I loved the mod that let me knock him out cold at the end. That was one heck of a kiss, if not the one Alistair was expecting.

But now that I have that ending finally out of the way, I won't feel so bad for continuing with the DR each time.

Lol, I was dying laughing after SurelyForth wrote it.  I had done the front part the other day, and MageTarot suggested I turn it into a Postcard.  I thought about that  and first thought of writing to Eamon, but that wasn't so fun. Then thought about Alistair writing to the Grand Cleric, BUT...I couldn't write it as all I came up with was dreck.  Addai suggested I ask SurelyForth to do the writing part, and I laughed out loud at the result.

I just have to figure out how the best way to post here is.   Thanks!

The elf Iona also says something to that effect...
"Lady Landra is good to her elven servants. That is not true in many
households, but I hear it is in yours. It speaks well of your father to
show such compassion."

I'm a big Pappa Cousland fan and I have no doubt that the Couslands would have done a much better job at raising Alistair, but I don't see why Maric would hand him to them... It makes sense that a secret of that magnitude should remain within the family, which unfortunately turned out to be Eamon.

I find it very sweet too! I like to RP that my Cousland wasn't planning on it and just blurts it out in the heat of the moment as an additional way to win the nobles' support for King Alistair, and after the Landsmeet is done she's like 'oh crap, he never actually *proposed* to me... oops'
