Having trouble with photobucket again.  I uploaded, cropped and covered up the naughty bits on this photo - http://gallery.me.co...corated/web.jpg

They pulled it and said it's in violation of their ToS.  Does anyone have a suggestion on a good site to use that isn't quite so picky?

*edit - also about a week ago, they pulled a screenshot of Alistair in his horned helmet and thong.

I must be lucky, I never get any Photobucket stuff pulled.  But I have a paid account and keep my albums locked, maybe that makes a difference?

ImageShack might be better, its certainly better than Photobucket, which I personally don't like, yet still use

I hadn't even posted that pic with the butterflies yet, and they already pulled it.   <_<

Alistair+24 inch monitor = awesome. unfortunately it doesn't support my laptop's native 1900x1200 resolution, only 1920x1080. But it's HDMI so maybe it evens out, or maybe it annoys me and goes back. Also, lag is back, looking at the temperature on my video cards, it appears my system is only using 1 of two nvidia 260m cards, an I may have to call Dell. Why did they have to take over Alienware *cries*. i've always had Dell's and never had issues, but god I HATE the call centers.

I had a few pulled as well, I am not sure why cause I can't remeber what's missing, however I have a few unedited full frontal Alistair's that they haven't touched...odd.

documents/bioware/dragonage/characters/renata

In that folder, I replace Renata_portrait with the new one (needs to be a PNG).  In properties, click read only.  When your profile updates, it will be there.

Thanks for the walkthrough, Rak!  I see the portrait in the "Other Portraits" folder but when I go into "change profile photo" I don't see it. All I see are just the regular portraits.  Is there a time delay involved?

Yes there's a delay. Usually about an hour.

EDIT: Wait, I don't think I read your post correctly, has the portrait uploaded to your profile already? It takes about an hour before the uploaded info is displayed on your profile and that's if the character uploading process is working out for you. I've been having issues with it for the past two months, none of my characters would update. I ended up downloading the standalone character creation thingy to upload portraits and it worked fine. I'm not sure if the latest patch had anything to do with that.

Ah, ok. That's what I was missing. I wasn't thinking that a custom portrail took a while longer to upload. It hasn't shown up yet but I'll check it a bit later.

If you are just playing around with making temporary characters that you don't particularly want others to see, it seems like the profile updates almost immediately.  And if you have a great screenshot that you want to add to your profile pic, it seems like it takes forever!  The longest I had to wait was several (maybe 4) hours.  They say you can nudge it along by changing armor on that character and saving the game, or moving to a different location and saving.  I haven't found that that makes much difference.
