Video cards aren't necessarily delicate, but if you're careless they can easily go kaput (just like any other PC component).

It's important to make sure your card isn't overheating. Take notice of your fan's settings. For example, I once had mine working at 50% and the card was heating up like crazy, causing my games to constantly crash. I prefer to just leave it at 100% all the time (though this is really only necessary while gaming), even if it can get a bit loud (though you get used to it in time).

Also make sure to clean the fan periodically. Just like the CPU or PSU fans, dust can clog them. A can of compressed air is your best friend.

Finally, check that the card's heatsink isn't loose, otherwise it won't do it's job properly.

In WA the dust is moist and sticks. And in my laptop, which is already hard to blow out anyhow it completely clogged one of the air flows where one of the cards sits. There was burnt dust. I have no idea how to watch my fan speed or see what it's at. Speedfan was a no go for that.  I was blowing them out weekly but that one just really gathered it. Poor thing. It's the side the ashtray sat on for a while too, that didn't help. Yay for 3 year full serive contract...lol

Thanks to Giggles' most helpful suggestion (that should have been obvious to me) to pause the game for screenshots, I now have much better combat shots! And I am really enjoying dw Alistair, he is a decap machine!

Heh, it took me a while to get hang of getting good screenshots, though in my case it was about never removing the interface. I have so many good screenshots ruined by the interface still showing up.

Same here. There's no way I can move the camera around, get rid of the interface, stay alive and take shots at the same time. Fraps helped a little but the pause thing was a stroke of genius.

The animations are really well done. I laughed out loud when the slaping started.  I didn't get the kiss though...
