Yeah, I'm trying to write from the end of the HN origin myself, but just couldn't get it to work. I was bored just writing it. :)

So I'm picking up from Ostagar and it's going much better.

And what's The Gimp?

Edit: Crud Monkies, ToP again. Bleh, need to figure out a screenie.

Part of the conversation convincing Alistair to sleep with Morrigan for the DR. I love the "Wut?" expression on his face.

Gimp is a photoshop-like free program, but large.  XnView might be an alternative for you, it's not large, and you can do editing, and some filtering, etc.   It's perfect for me when I don't want to open photoshop.  www.XnView.com

Heyas new to the forums and of course I have to pop into the thread dedicated to Alistair. I've played through all the endings and I'm pretty sure I'll never let him leave me again! I remember the first time a mage of mine made him king and when afterward he said, "Look, we need to talk".. argh!

This entire dialog in my head went NOTHING like the numerical options they placed before me:
1. What?? After all we've been through?? After all I've done for you? *I* put your ass on the throne and now YOU want to leave ME??
2. Have your damn rose back. *Cutscene. GW throws rose. Thorns scratch Alistair. Alistair winces and gives an Alistairesque. "hayeee!" GW then continues in a mocking voice, "Oh here's pretty rose, see the pretty rose, I picked it and it was pretty and you're pretty..blah blah blah!!"
3. Fine! Have fun killing the bloody Archdemon on your own!! I'm going HOME!
4. You bahstaahd!!!

What can I say? I was hurt.. :-D

This is what we need to be able to do.

All the more reason to justify the reason for us being here, right?

Thank you for the kind words. I guess it goes without saying that I hope we all find our own Alistair. Posted Image

Let me tell y'all about XnView again, it's a small, free photo editor that has a browser in it, which makes it so convenient to look at a group of shots. It has red eye, filtering, batch editing, create slideshows, tag, rate, and you can get into the EXIF information, too. It makes managing screenshots easy and is so much more convenient than paint, etc. www.xnview.com

Okay, enough of the sales pitch, it's just I thought I should share a great little program because all of us manage screenies.

A real alistair from me again...lol, amazing :P

Zjarcal- That's so weird. I love technology.
Sandti- I wonder if Windows Photo Gallery or whatever does the same thing. OpenOffice user.

*Waves* Welcome to our evergrowing club of squeee :D And Irfan-view is the program you might want to search for. It's for free and has all basic picture editing functions for your needs ;) I use it too.

Enjoy it, cme. Time for some sleep for me, I hit the ''overtired' wall about an hour ago....night all

IrfanView doesn't have the resources that XnView has.  I used to use IrfanView years ago, but it was surpassed.

Yeah, well, I think in my case he's going to remain in my head. My experiences with real world males fail at anything beyond being buddies.

I have a question.

Preferred Alistair - normal or "hardened"? (yes, I understand the unintentional innuendo)

Hardened. I know a lot of people prefer his unhardened dialogue, but I like his hardened character better.

Agreed. He's more determined, and willing to consider what's good for him.

I'm torn. If there was an middle ground, I'd prefer that.

I like how unhardened Alistair doesn't want to be King and wants to remain a GW. However the boy really needs to have his confidence boosted up and stand up for himself more often.

Hardened, absolutely. He'll never be happy if he doesn't have the confidence to look out for himself. He says so himself. He shouldn't have to depend on the warden to do it for him. And it's a terrible thing that he doubts himself so much. There's just nothing good about that, at all.
