Obviously the game only has sparing Loghain be Alistair's breaking point but do you think that there would ever be anything else that, game-mechanics aside, he couldn't accept from a LI? Defiling the ashes? Abandoning Redcliffe because they can't be bothered to defend the peasants? If he ever found out that you traded Connor's soul for whatever after Isolde died in the blood magic ritual? Anything else?

I think the soul barganing would do it, there realy is no "rational" explanation for that one. It's for personal gain. Mostly, I think it would depend on the warden's explanation and intentions. If he belived the warden was honestly doing these things out of necessity and not malice he wouldn't automatically walk. I also belive that Alistair walking after sparing Loghain is mostly game mechanics. I do think if the warden had a chance to explain it might turn out somewhat different.

The problem with that is Riordan never thinks to tell you until Redcliffe the night before marching to Denerim so Alistair would have to stick around in the party or at least head to Redcliffe like everyone else before he could get that explanation.tuppence95 wrote...

I also believe this, especially once they would be able to talk about what Riordan revealed about killing the AD.

Wait, why would that be drunkard Alistair?
It's the pet rumour of the DA community. Of course it could be any version of him but only this Alistair is spotted at a Starkhaven tavern in the Free Marches.Sialater wrote...
