If that was your intent, so be it.  I agree, no one here is a medieval noble woman/man, therfore we don't know what *really* happened in those times.  I happen to belive that the nobles were constantly sleeping around, but it wasn't talked about so it wasn't recorded in history.  Not so different from modern times...humans are still human.

And, in that respect, Ferelden is not real medieval times.  So it is up to each individual player how to interpret the world.  So you essentially called anyone's character who "slept around" a skank.  Well guess what?  Maybe in *your* Ferelden they are a skank, but in "Jane's" Ferelden they are not a skank.  Each Ferelden is created by the player.  So you are calling many player's characters skanks, which could be offensive to that player.

And I am sorry, I have to agree with SurelyForth, ending your judgemental posts with a ";)" does not take any of the hurt or offensiveness away from that post.

Well, I'm certainly sorry to have given offense. I thought I was answering a question honestly, but I certainly could have been more tactful.

No, I'm not saying at ALL that they have to be. It's just that no other origin has the option of being ...well casual about sex. DNF option is in love with Gorim, Dalish, loves Tamlen, CE is getting married, the only one even close is the mage/cullen thing. So why is the HNF option for romance a fling or a threesome? It's the only one with the skank OPTION rather than a love/crush type thing. Alot of fics tend to make her out that way too, it's just lopsided that's all. Elea is pure as the driven snow and Alistair will be her first, last, and only.

Well, if you're talking about females, yes. DNMs, on the other hand, get to have a threesome with two noble hunters and even get a son out of the deal. The more conservative families grumble about that kind of thing but it's pretty accepted by that society.

But, I've found myself laughing myself silly playing my current game. I now have 2-second recharge on spells and set Morrigan to blast everyone with Walking bomb. That, combined with Deathblows has afforded me an absolute giggle-fest at the constant geysers of blood spewing everywhere.

I've played so many characters that anything 'new' is welcome, and this just is an absolute scream. Deathblows will get you a few geysers, but combine that with both the walking bomb spells and it is mind boggling.

Alistair is having a blast, as it seems he's the one always giving that last swipe of the sword to set it off..

Well, if there's ever a live-action Dragon Age film and Quentin Tarantino is asked to direct it, I'm making sure you get to do the screenplay!

Alistair gives you MORE approval if you tell him you have experience.  And he acts relieved about it.

I wish I could find it, but I swear the developers somewhere along the line said that sexuality in general is pretty open in the DA universe.  They don't deal in 'skanks' and '****s' so much as "saucy minxes" or "sly dogs."  Big difference there.

Oh, and as far as Medieval history?  I've done a bit of study on the Medieval and Renaissance eras, and you'd be amazed at the sheer volume of secular music and popular tunes from those eras that focused solely on a person's sex life.  Just putting that out there.

Yes because a strapless dress is what you want to wear in combat, that can bunch up your legs, and with a good trip you suddenly can become indisposed. 

Come on Giggles, the vanilla stuff in Dragon Age isn't exactly that logical either. The Dalish Armor is basically a bikini. And if we're talking about tripping, great swords would be very effective at doing that.

Eh, but I'm not arguing over this. If I recall, I got a banner to work on.

Lol, at level 10, Morrigan has almost 10,000 in friendly fire damage, that's more than she's ever gotten in a whole game of mine.  Should be fun to see the total

What I can't wait to see is how quick the Archdemon fight is going to go! Poor Alistair's going to go bounding in to attack the demon. One hit from Morrigan and she'll give him a look like "What?"

It's not like the Chantry is some version of the Medieval Roman Catholic church where women were evil witches and sinful. Ohh. Good point. I always think of that being the Rennaissance though, not so much medieval time. There are books out there though, titled "Sex With Queens" and "Sex with Kings" documenting just how much of that has gone on throughout history. So I suppose it's really not that implausible.

edit: I laugh every time I see naked Alistair with the Thane Helmet. Like,  Alright you're completely nude, BUT you're wearing squiggly horns as your only protection?

King Henry the 8th for example had 6 wives and a very large sexual appetite which is recorded in history he had countless mistress's . one of them bore him a bastard son he later claimed when his "wife of the time " couldn't produce any. So its safe to say that this behavior goes way back into history.
