Lol, yeah I think others view Morrigan differently than I do. I don't think she would care how her comment was taken, I think she enjoys the power over the PC and Alistair. Of course I like Morrigan a lot, and always romance her with my males. But still....Reika wrote...
Honestly, I think it was the music used for the DR that really bothered me. I really do think Morrigan was trying in her own way trying to make things a little easier for everyone involved. She's really not the type to be gentle and understanding. Depending on how you handle her through the game, she becomes a little better at it, but it's not something that comes naturally to her.
Morrigan is one character that I haven't warmed up to. I really tried! My HNM romanced her and fell in love with her. He kept quiet about his feelings, because she was so vocal about her disdain for love. But when she gave him the ring, he admitted his love for her. That was fairly early in the game, and from that moment on, they pretty much had no relationship. She had nothing new to say to him, and if he'd suggest tent time, he'd snap at her. That went on until Landsmeet. He finally arranged a political marriage with Anora. Then finally Morrigan brought up their relationship and they decided to keep it from Anora. He tried to invite himself to her tent again, and she rejected him. He tried to talk more to her, and she still had nothing to say. Finally at the end, he did the DR with her, but by that point it almost felt like cheating on Anora. And then they had an emotional goodbye.
So was that it? Or did I do something wrong? Maybe mentioning love is never ok? I realize I must be missing some deeper stuff that's going on, but it left me feeling meh.
I've played 2 mages since then, and she's just stayed at camp. I haven't even done WH with my HNM.
