Is it a CRT? Mine is a while lot darker.... If so, have you considered a second LCD monitor? I tend to gear my brightness to those since that's what most people have.I really like having both. It's very nice to have all that desktop.

Is it just the Amaranthine ones that are that dark for you? How about the Highever and Lothering ones?

I love them, errant_knight.  You really are terrific at creating them.

I have two s-IPS panel LCD's, plus my LaCie CRT, but that only is used as final check since it has Profile Maker 5 Platinum attached to it, the others have i1XTreme UVcut.  But my profiles are darker than they would be normally, and changing the profile of my video cards can mess up calibration so I don't do it anymore.  I'm seriously thinking of getting another computer to game on, since this one really has turned out to be a digital darkroom. 

Colour and light calibration between camera/computer/home printers/scanners/commerical printers and trying to keep the correct colour reproducible is a nightmare.  But...enough about that!

Monitor calibration is the suck, yes. My laptop and external monitors have two different color profiles. SPYDER FTW! Then I don't have to futz with vid card profile swapping. I just calibrate the stupid screens with my Spyder, and adjust my gamma in game for my own tastes. Fraps takes it's screenshots based on Desktop gamma and everyone is happy!

So, I wasn't happy with the lighting in the Amaranthine shots, even before I found out that they weren't waorking for Inclemency, so I decided to rework them. These actually look a lot better on my darker CRT (CRT rules, for those of you who may never have had one), so maybe Inclemency is seeing something good. Here's the first batch, Kal Sharok:

Yes, heard from Aimo Tuesday night. She requested details about what I wanted the artwork to look like (so she could give me a price quote) as well as questions about Arturo's personality and backstory (drawing will be a tavern scene with Alistair and Arturo celebrating Connor's Rescue/Isolde's & Teagan's safety/recovering Andraste's Ashers/Curing Arl Eamon).  Sent the reply yesterday afternoon so just waiting for the next step in the process. Can't wait!!

Looks good on my LCD and laptop (giggles at the fun of sliding windows between the two screens).  I don't miss my CRT at all...or the headaches with calibration and printing that came with it...lol OR the headaches from the constant flickering, which most people don't notice but apparently some people are sensitive to. lucky me >.<

I agree with this. I've only done it on that one "oops" playthrough, and he was exiled. So at least THAT part makes sense. But what happens to your relationship if you ALMOST spare Loghain, but instead make Alistair king when he demands it? Are there ANY repercussions then?

In my experience, it just made the post-Landsmeet dumping worse, cause he was all like "I never wanted to be king but I guess I understand why you made that decision"

and I'm like "uh because you ASKED ME TO"

and he's like "But now I have to dump you for the good of Ferelden, and keep in mind that I never wanted this!"

and I'm like "You did! You did want it! You specifically did!"

and then he goes "Need to be alone now bye"

and my PC is all *woecakes*

Oh the first time I had that was an elf mage, she let Alistair behead Loghain, no mention of sparing him, and he friggin claims the danged throne...THEN BLAMED HER!! Bastard.
