The dark looks like hair- maybe it's a post US relationship and the PC was romanced.

I love the idea of a romantic walk by Lake Calenhad.  CE is tough.  There's no place that's really scenic or romantic in the alienage.  Maybe the tree?  But at least with IA, there's always other elves walking around there.  Maybe someplace near the lake at Redcliffe for HN?  Or that overlook past the mill?

Yeah there isn't a single romantic or scenic spot in Denerim.  I had to invent one for my fanfic story.  It's close to the sea, too, so there were possibilities- it's too bad Awakening doesn't have a toolset or you might have been able to borrow a seaside scene from it.  You could borrow the Dalish camp for CE, too, I guess.

Maybe walk around the tree? Or just taking him around the alienage viewing the conditions, though that would be more sad than romantic.

Another problem with using the alienage is that it would be locked until late-game. Not sure if that's what you planned anyway?

Actually yes. It's a one time thing that will be unique to each origin.

OUCH! Sorry to hear.. Hope it's nothing serious and you get better soon, so that you can get right back on? I have my own wild history with horses.. horse fell on me as well at one point, but I never ever wanted to stop riding.

And now, since you've gotten my BA senses tingling....

Seriously, if you don't fit out Alistair with a longbow in your game, you should reconsider.  Of course, it makes more sense if he's DW since he'll have the high dex.

Hmmm...Archerstair is hot!

Addai, it's called 'Underworld Armor' and looks better on the guys, on female chars it's a bit more revealing but the proportions of the body aren't quite right (breasts too low, and arms too skinny). The helm is very bizarre, a metal animal face with a long horsetail.  It's fun for a bit, I'm trying to fly by this early part of the game so the stats on it come in handy.

You could always respec him as a Warrior Archer that is Strength / Dexterity based. Templar and Champion have good synergy with a build like that and Archers can be pretty damn potent in the later stages of the game, plus they require no mirco-management or even real player attention since you can program them to look after themselves. That's an interesting approach.  I don't usually go that far, since I don't care to put too many points in archery.  A high-dex/str character will do pretty well with a bow as a secondary weapon even without a single talent point in archery.  And since I often have Alistair in Shadow Armor, he doesn't have a penalty either.

Interesting.  I had to go look up the film Underworld, haven't seen that though I think I left campy vampire movies behind in my teens. 

I went to see if I had any other shots of Archerstair, but no go.  The search did pull up this one, which is named "bow" as in take a bow.  And it's nice, so I'll post it anyway.  After my last game, I repent of making Anora sole ruler.  For one thing, it makes Awakening icky.  Oh and I just made an Orlesian in Awakening and I'm going to be so confused when Alistair shows up and my PC doesn't want to tackle him.
