I am actually happy with my age. When I hit 30 it was like something clicked and I stopped caring about all the silly stuff that you care about when your in your teens and 20's. I think some of that is because of where I live tho. In my 32 yrs I have seen more of the world than most. I have been to all the states and a good portion of the overseas countries. Course that was because my dad was in the military. I remember moving back to the states after living in Germany and not knowing any english. So i'm happy where I'm at and wouldn't mind playing a 30 something Warden.

Some is also that I have younger friends and I see the "crisis's they go thru right now " heck I know some women around here in there 40's that still haven't managed to get past being in there 20's. But I digress

I like playing my characters tho in there mid to late 20's . I can relate better. That's how I like it tho.

My 30th birthday was awesome, and don't take it the wrong way I'm not unhappy with my age, I just portray IT every day, so when I get to play a video game, I want to do things I don't do IRL. Run around with big swords, stab people that get in my way, be a young hot heroine with awesome skills.

My friends always tease me because I do this as well . I like playing short females with huge weapons that look like they can't or shouldn't be carrying them. I played this game called Torchlight and my gal was packing these 2 HUGE pistols. When I would blow stuff up I'd get all excited . I like being  in the games doing that kind of stuff .:O
I swear Alistair is getting tired of me blowing up stuff with walking bomb or virulent bomb...:whistle:

Heh yeah he's getting tired of Jain's head grenades too

He can't help it that he's so ... well ... stupid.  But he means well. 

I used to feel like you do.  I couldn't stand him.  But he grew on me after doing the Jowan's Intentions quest.

He is a good guy. A dumb good guy, but a good guy nonetheless. I love him.

@Yankee: Hey there is nothing wrong with curves!!

How much friendly fire have you done with the walking and virulent bombing?  Morrigan is set to use that pretty much everywhere and is past 70,000 in FF damage...lol

We need more AListair screens, I cant post any, Photobucket has me cut off until the 6th

I tried searching for this info, can't find a thing one way or another and you guys are all really smart - can you change the intensity of blush, eye and lip makeup of a .mor file in the toolset? I can change the colors themselves but can't figure out if I should be able to change intensity.

I'm glad I 'm not the only one. I've gotten most of the achieves. Aside from warrior and mage ones, the only three major story achievements I haven't gotten are Sacreligeous, Warden-Commander, and Redeemer. I know it's just a game, but I just can't bring myself to do them.

Doing the US was hard enough, especially with some of the mods I've got installed.

I completely wiped from my mind that Alistair could actually be sentenced for execution. Just totally blanked it as that is something I could never do. It was bad enough saving Loghein and having him leave or marry Anora. That other option is just not a part of my reality.

My PC. She was made in the in game creator and I don't have a .mrh only the .mor.

I rationalized sparing Loghain by using that playthrough to get the Warden Commander achievement as well.  I knew Alistair would leave the party but I figured this way, I wouldn't have to watch him die, so I let Loghain make the sacrifice for me.  But, as I've said before, seeing the epilogue regarding Alistair broke my heart.  I literally sat here in front of the computer bawling my eyes out.

Alistair IRS

If you don't do the DR and you have Alistair in your party for the final battle in Fort Drakon, he normally will sacrifice himself for you. The mod has included in it TMP's mod that let's you knock him out to do the US, then after the AD is dead and your Warden with it (and provided you were in a romance with him), he cradles the Warden's dead body.

That combined with the Eulogy he gave for my char (I didn't have him marry anora and crowned him king), I was a complete and utter wreck.

I'm not the type to cry, really I'm not. But by the end I was bawling.

So then I put that US save on my backup drive, reloaded from before the DR, did it and had her live happily (if that's possible in DA  ) ever after.

Yeah, I can't do that to Alistair. It's silly, I've never had a character in a computer game catch my imagination the way Alistair did.

@Yankee: I use the game creator ,I dont have any toolsets. I use mods like Pineappletree's(sp) Colors for the hair ,eye,make up. I use tucked hair and More Hairstyles for the hair. It prolly takes me 30 mins to a hour to create a character how I see her in my minds eye. I think the make up on Morri and Flemeth is to heavy . I try to keep my gals with light make up . So it looks more like natural beauty . Where I find it is under skin tones when you first make up your character.

Why do I even recruit the woman? Elea can't even set her on fire! I swear my wardens are making Morrigan a healer from here out and the old bat is staying at the tower, so my healer doesn't gripe and moan when I do things like let Avernus live. Seriously..

The Amell character I played for a while was older, and I liked her because of her back story.  I think if you have an interesting back story that makes a difference (if you're that sort of player who makes back stories).  A 20-something can only have done so much in her young life, no offense to 20-somethings present.  So I'm glad they have the age slider because some origins do accommadate it.  Variety being the spice of life.

As for young vs. older-looking Alistair, it's not that my PC would actually be cradle-robbing, but that with a younger look to him I would feel less inclined to enjoy the romance.  It's the subtle things sometimes that make an NPC seem more or less attractive.  So I'm really, really glad they gave him a look that was not too babyface, and hurrah for SV- 'nuff said about the VO!!    Zevran's older look/ personality is something I appreciate about him, too.

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Wynne with that kind of expression.

Usually I select the option that says for Avernuss to continue his research with ethical means, no one freaks out on that.
