Time for sleep, goodnight all.

@Lady Jess: That Wynne face scares me !!!

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen Wynne with that kind of expression.

Usually I select the option that says for Avernuss to continue his research with ethical means, no one freaks out on that.

If you tell him to go ahead, and if any research bears fruit let you know, he'll actually tell you he can't go on as he did before. But he'll do what he can and let you know. So the result is the same as far as how he does it.  I never took that option before.

I'm getting sentimental about it, and my pc hasn't even met him yet!

I'd think the smell of rotting corpses and darkspawn would remove that feeling.

I love the smell of dead Darkspawn in the morning...
It smells like Victory.

Really I have been watching some really old films right now and have been having way to much fun.

My 30th birthday was awesome, and don't take it the wrong way I'm not unhappy with my age, I just portray IT every day, so when I get to play a video game, I want to do things I don't do IRL. Run around with big swords, stab people that get in my way, be a young hot heroine with awesome skills.

The Amell character I played for a while was older, and I liked her because of her back story.  I think if you have an interesting back story that makes a difference (if you're that sort of player who makes back stories).  A 20-something can only have done so much in her young life, no offense to 20-somethings present.  So I'm glad they have the age slider because some origins do accommadate it.  Variety being the spice of life.

As for young vs. older-looking Alistair, it's not that my PC would actually be cradle-robbing, but that with a younger look to him I would feel less inclined to enjoy the romance.  It's the subtle things sometimes that make an NPC seem more or less attractive.  So I'm really, really glad they gave him a look that was not too babyface, and hurrah for SV- 'nuff said about the VO!!   Zevran's older look/ personality is something I appreciate about him, too.

Amell/Surana definitely accomodates it really easily.  And I do get the part about looking young vs not, thank you for putting it that way! My CEF is going to fall hard for Zev I think.  Must resist the templar!

Yeah, pretty much. It's more like slice, slice, kill kill, getting covered in gore and trying not to get squished by the ogre running around. Then in the end burning that stupid shemlen king.

So all in all hardly the place for sentiments, but I get your meaning ;)

Actually, I understand what you mean and if I was an Alistarian I'd probably feel the same way. I mean, being able to go back to Lothering (sans darkspawn of course) and Dane's refuge in particular would be pretty nice for me... ;)

To get this OT what type of movie do you think Alistair would watch?

Either really bad horror flicks (his love for odd arcane things) or really awful comedies.

I think he'd like traditional knight-in-shining-armor movies. Maybe a story where the hero gets their hard-won vengeance at the end if he's been angsting about Loghain.

Hello! I'm looking for some guinea pigs to test out my Alistair morph. I'm really just wondering if someone can download it and make sure it opens right. If you don't mind popping it in your override folder for a minute, that would be awesome too! It's on my project page: social.bioware.com/project/3587/

Oh, and I finally managed to get the house to myself, so I was testing out all of the tent options from IRS. Whoa. *fans self* I've only really seen the First Knight one, which doesn't show a whole lot. I now know what you all meant about it being awkward when Alistair's not ready for it. She was just sort of... kissing and air-grinding. Yeah, gonna do the file swap any time I plan on tent scenes from now on. I also didn't realize the body mod was so detailed. I erm... saw a whole lot more of my PC than I imagined. <_<

*Goes back to lurking*

Those with a rope around the neck, and those who have to cut them down.

*thwaps KoP*

I think Alistair would like movies about honor and bravery and good winning out over evil.  And he'd like ... Monty Python and the Holy Grail.  :P

Don't you think that resorting to mutually assured destruction is a disproportionate retaliation? :D

It doesn't hurt me nearly as much as it does you.  You should know this by now.

*prepares to load Morrigan's morph onot her char and take Alistair to the tavern*

Alistair's favorite movies are clearly Toy Story 1-3
