I was just telling that to my friend! Hehe.
Basically, any movie where the guy gtes the girls and gets to live happily ever after would win. If it includes some epic sword fights, all the better.

Do not make me post Alistair/Morrigan sexytimes.
Hey, so, someone said a while back that originally there were supposed to be different DR scenes depending on who was doing the DR with Morrigan and what their relationships with the Warden were like. In other words, an in-love Alistair might be considerably grimmer about the whole thing than in the "default" scene we're given.
Can anyone give me a link to where Gaider or another of the mods says this? Google searches just turn up the Aimo comic, which is great and all, but I'm looking for a comment from the devs.
I did manage to go through with the DR for the first time. Morrigan is surprisingly nice afterwards, at the final battle. I even kidded her about her "delicate condition." I guess my Warden actually trusts her to be a decent mom to Alistair's kid, and is glad to think that something of him will be left in the world after the two of them succumb to the taint. It makes me feel a little less sick about the whole thing. I did love the epilogue slides about my lavish wedding to Alistair and how he adored his new bride -- what a difference, emotionally, between that ending and the Warden-Commander beatdown that was my first playthrough!

It doesn't hurt me nearly as much as it does you. You should know this by now.
*prepares to load Morrigan's morph onot her char and take Alistair to the tavern*
Ok stop! Fine, I relent.

Haha, reminds me of me and Beauty and the Beast. When I was 5 i was given the tape for my birthday. I watched it every single day. My older cousin (she was in her early 20s at the time) came to visit from Florida and I made her sit and watch it with me three times in a row. She still brings it up, 17 years later...
At least it wasn't Cinderella or Snow White *seething rage hate*

I actually liked it.
I had fun taking the "defiant" path.

I've only recently done that. VERY powerful. Esp. Duncan's line about risking all for a friend.

That is my favorite Duncan line in the whole game. I love it and it epitomizes what my mage was doing and why she did it.

I guess I don't see Jowan as a friend. He seems all too willing to risk his "friend" for his own selfish purposes. What was he expecting to happen to me after he escaped? Meh. I have no sympathy for him and his epic level of idiocy. Though I have played characters that are BFFs with him, but I die inside over his stupidity.
I agree that Jowan is an idiot (a lovable idiot) and I perfectly understand why some people would feel that the "friendship" aspect is forced upon them (it kind of is).
As for what was he expecting? To not be made a tranquil, that's it. Obviously his plan wasn't the brightest one and it blows up in everyone's face, but I wouldn't hold that as him not caring for his friend. His dialogue in the dungeon in Redcliffe castle if you decide to have him executed (after Eamon is cured) is incredibly touching (if you're a mage of course). He accepts his death gracefully and still calls you a friend even if you're the one who will carry out the execution (you can choose to back out though and leave the task to whoever does that stuff in the castle).
Like I said, Jowan is a fool, no doubt about that. I still love him though.

To get this OT what type of movie do you think Alistair would watch?
Either really bad horror flicks (his love for odd arcane things) or really awful comedies.
Aimo has him watching "Twilight" while all the rest of the companions are taking the ******... That about sums it up.
"Pirates of the Caribbean"?
