It's not big eyes, just bigger pupils with different iris texture!  Lol, the mod doesn't create big eyes.

Omg, I'm in the Korkari Wilds and have Random Age still turned on. We just had to kill a Darkspawn Emissary at level 4. This is insane, but certainly fun.

It actually did require me to shrink the pupils on some of my morphs, specifically the lighter colored eyes, they definitely increased in size. My poor mage had no whites in her eyes at first install...lol

I'm enjoying Random Age so far, but it was tough getting out of the Cousland origin story.  I'm still in Korcari.  It does make things more exciting.

Omg, this is the first game I'm thinking of actually setting traps for mobs. This Random Age mod is amazing.

Jory just being Jory....how could Alistair say that Duncan was good judge of character with a straight face when he had already met Jory.

What exactly does Random Age does? Change the enemies that you'd regularly fight or add new enemies on top of those?

It adds enemies and can equip them differently, too.  There are additional drops if you want, as well.  You can customize it all.  Certainly has added challenge to the game!

"This mod adds random enemies and magic items throughout the game. Each encounter is a new and exciting experience, as your foes will be different and uniquely equipped during each playthrough.

Enemy groups will occasionally spawn with a varying degree of reinforcements, ranging from basic fodder to powerful specialists. Like all enemies in RA, these foes will have their own unique magic equipment which they will use against you and possibly drop when killed.

The random items you will find can be of any type and appearance, and will contain virtually unlimited types and combinations of magical properties, as well as special attack properties and rune slots. You can now tailor your look and playstyle around a dynamic equipment base, instead of simply using the standard "uber" items that are the same every time.

Drop types are automatically adjusted based on your class, specialization, and even your equipment preferences, providing you with more useful drops overall, and can also be fine-tuned using the .ini settings.

Items are scaled to the level and rank of the dropper, and will always have a small chance of being exceptionally strong for their level. Now your most formidable enemies - not the merchants of Ferelden - are the guardians of your most powerful treasures."

And here's an important part of the description:

"This mod makes the game anywhere from marginally to significantly more difficult, depending on the settings you choose. Almost all aspects of Random Age are customizable through the DragonAge.ini settings, allowing you to tailor the mod to your preference.

The default settings should be quite a bit more difficult than a vanilla playthrough, with occasional encounters of exceptional difficulty, and it should offer a fair amount of custom items on par with and often better than those already available throughout the course of a standard game.

This increased difficulty is recommended to achieve an overall feeling of a more "advanced" playthrough. When combined with the extra experience gained from the additional enemies as well as the better items you will find, the game will be harder but offer commensurately better rewards.

Keep in mind that LEVEL 5 IS VERY, VERY HARD, EVEN ON NORMAL."

But it sure is fun!

I think Jory just wore Duncan down enough to make him agree to go along. That or he hoped that Jory's skill would make up for his idiocy.

Thanks Inclemency and tuppence!

It sounds like a whole lot of fun to be honest, especially once you've done so many playthroughs. I'll try it out for my next run for sure.

Jory drives me crazy!  His head is so big, and he's always creeping up behind me just as I'm clicking on something, so I end up having to talk to him instead.

I've probably already asked you this (brain=sieve moment) but what armor is Alistair wearing in your picture?

It's the 'Armor of the Elven Warden' (Alistair).  I think it looks good for the beginning of the game.  My warden is wearing the Underworld Armor, which looks significantly different on male characters.

Lol, usually I either disarm Jory and Daveth while going through the Wilds, and/or set them to Cautious and have no skills in tactics.  This way Alistair and my warden get all the kills.   Not any more with Random age working!

I always re-train Daveth so that he's all archery and disarming.  Jory, I set to Cautious and let him sorta wander around, trying not to die.

*edit - thanks for the armor name.  I need to download that one.  It looks good.

Their not allowed any health potions or injury kits in my games. Don't want to waste any on joining fodder. They are seriously hurting by the time we get back to Ostagar. Image IPB

Here it is:   Armor of the Elven Warden

I'm liking the grey warden symbol on the Underworld on your PC, tuppence.  I think I might change my model.

And for Briiel, the Underworld Armor

I love both of those Calenhad shots.  Beautiful!

And even though I've already seen the Dog Derp shot, it still made me laugh out loud.  We need that shot every Monday!
