@inclemency -- I'm glad you're finding RA so entertaining! I've got it running in Awakening atm which is sort of a double challenge for me since I've only played it once before so I'm not real sure what to expect in fights to begin with, let alone what RA is doing to drop in my lap.

These days, I'll be in a fight and get blasted with a fireball out of nowhere and I'll be like "Dagnabit! I forgot to tab and look for Emissaries... AGAIN!"

@tuppence -- Have you been using RA long? I got it a few weeks ago and just finished my first DAO playthrough with it installed. I'm totally addicted to it, now.

I've only been using RA since this afternoon.  It makes the game exciting again!

Re: those surprise fireballs ... I always set at least one character's tactics to search out mages and attack.  If Alistair's got Holy Smite, I'll set him to use that right away.  Same for a mage with Mana Clash.  OMG, I love that spell!  And if I'm low level, I set Dog to seek out mages and attack.  Saves me from having to remember to Tab.

Oh...crap. I just noticed that they're wearing the same sword. How'd that happen? Well, I'm not going to redo them because the matching lavender sword handles are a bit odd.

I would also:

Add a parent figure you cant quite make out for the mage origin, who can tell you something about your past since the mage origin only knows where they came from.



Rica should have been there instead of Leske, because a sister has more meaning than a scuzy work friend, you might have killed.

Oh, and not long after that we got The Tweet from SV based on a shot that had been featured in page 2000, and that was good for another 20 pages of squee at least.

Thanks, Javapadawan, and I'm so glad you liked them, Zjarcal! I was worried that I hadn't done enough with her initial reaction, but when I tried a stronger reaction, it made her look...not so sane in the context. Alistair was looking at her sideways like, whoa, scary....

Errant, these totally capture the moment, and I completely agree, though probably impossible due the many game factors, I would have really loved to see emotion like this in the game. Excellent job! Definitely caught the moment beautifully!
