Mornin' y'all! I'm having serious Alistair withdrawals. I'm playing Awakening atm and had to go back, thanks to my stupid compulsiveness, through about 10 hours of play because I screwed up and got Justice before getting Velanna, thereby missing out on her Joining, etc.

I did get a pretty (well it's pretty to me, at least lol) pic of my Warden though, so I'm happy!

Tigress, nice screen! Lol, I never put Velanna through the joining anymore because I hate her so much, I don't do any joinings after Nathaniel's, actually.

@ Giggles - I have ME2 and played for about two hours, but I always felt I needed 16 hands to control everything and finally threw up my hands in disgust.  I haven't touched it again.   Lol, my husband bought me the Collector's edition and everything...why couldn't he have done that with DA:O?

I have been playing an Infiltrator on Insanity.
Its like a hybrid between the Predator and GOD.

There is combat overload on ME2 though on the higher settings though so yes it can be tricky.

I played the ME games before I played DAO and after the gorgeous environments in ME2, I was a little put off by DAO. Combined with the fact it felt a little too much like NWN (which makes sense because it's the same writers), it took awhile for me to warm up to the game. Or it might have just been the fact I really didn't like the mage origin.





Almost giving up on the game is when I rolled Marlana, got the romance with Alistair and decided this isn't a bad game after all.

This current game I'm playing, I'm pretty much doing the unthinkable....have a mage Cousland (Adopted mod). I had started a mage, but couldn't face that origin again, and I like the HNO so much, I figured 'what the heck' and tried it. So far, it's working fine.



Someone here was posting screens of Alistair as a 2H warrior, and it looked pretty sexy, so I am trying that out in this game, too. It is. Sexy.

Heh, I think Alistair hooked more than one of us.  I was ready to toss it aside, too, though mostly because the combat was stinking hard at first (unpatched PC game).  Then, Alistair... and now he's hooking me on DA2, as well, though I was going to hold off on getting that.  We need a support group.  Chantry Boy Anonymous.

Completely bleh on Mass Effect.  Not even sure where our copy of ME1 is anymore and we never got ME2.  I'm enjoying The Witcher, though.  Both husband and I are counting down to Fallout New Vegas.
