Well they are corruptions of the woman that once was, but basically yes, we are dealing with decorative mammalia.

Of course, THAT would be a top post.

Some more decorative mammalia.

Perhaps, but I don't see it as anything different than giving him his mother's amulet or Duncan's shield.  In both cutscenes you have the option to trivialize the gift so doing something like that for the Chalice doesn't seem like it would be much of a stretch.  And there can't be very many Wardens that don't feel something about the Joining Chalice -- either good or bad depending on how they viewed the Joining itself.

My guess... it was just too much work for a DLC, but personally I would have rather not had the gift to give than to have it be so diminished.

Agreed. Honestly at that point I also couldn't help but think "Oh geeze, another gift for Alistair. I don't need anymore for him, he's been wrapped around my little finger since Redcliffe. And I still have dialogue options to use."

Lol this conversation is disturbing. So....becoming a brood mother means you grow extra useless mammary glands. More reason than ever to be careful in the deep roads!

So is there like a tutorial somewhere to do this stuff/

The animation tutorials will tell you how to set the scene, Layout tutorials will tell you how to make unique areas, although you mostly can use game areas. There's a couple of things you have to do. If objects show up purple, that means you have to activate them to make tham not do that in the cutscene editor, which is where you take the shots. If they aren't unique, you can't do that, and have to cover them with something (hence the large logpile in this scene. You also have to set the cutscene editor so that vfx refresh themselves when you play the animation in the editor. Sometimes you need to add lights, either to the cutscene or the layout. And you have to make character 'creatures' so you can dress them like you want, and appropriate morphs for the PC. The easiest way to take the picture is to drag the camera view window to the full size, drag the timeline until it disappears, then take a screen shot. Then take it into photoshop and crop out the extraneous stuff.

Do I even...?  No, I don't think I do.  LOL.

Here ya go!

Lol, well at least her hands are protected. I really liked the back-tattoo though, but the rest? Not so much. Mages have only the choice between sl*t-tastic and fugly robes, apparently.

I wouldn't give it away, it was MY joining. I always keep that one for myself. I think, in fact, it should have been a gift he gives the warden. When you loot it, cut to Alistair giving it to the warden like the rose.

This is how I see it too. I would think it would be more important to the warden than Alistair, it's from your joining.

Mr. Gaider, I have a question if you will. Is Alistair Fiona's son? In which case Goldanna isn't really his sister at all. Or is he still out there somewhere?

And I'm going to leave this one to speculation, at least for now -- as I've mentioned elsewhere

Well that is in fact the closest to an answer, we got from DG concerning Fiona, ehh? Or more an non-answer, indeed. Though I fondly remember his evil eyebrow waggle after he answered "Maybe you already have?" on the question "if we ever get to meet Fiona's son."

Heh. :wizard:

The fact that it has such importance to the warden is why I want to give it to Alistair. It's a gift that has personal meaning.  Just like I imagine at some point he would give her his mother's amulet.

YES! Thanks. I really don't know what I wanna do. There is now a clothed prisoners mod, so that helps a litte. But like Ratt might be....strange with undies on.

I agree. When my character drinks from the chalice she is thinking... her parents are dead, she is worried about her brother, she has lost everything. The Joining Chalice represents her evolution.

Actually, I don't know if I would ever want to see that Chalice again to be honest.
To me, it would remind me of my loss of family . Alistair's painful loss...and so many lives lost. Not to say that the joining was a bad thing, but, it would be pretty painful for me to keep it around.

Agreed. I know someone else put it as the Warden's evolution, mine just saw it as all her choices (what few there were) being taken away from her. Then a huge, unwanted burden put on her shoulders.
