@Cmessaz...I just noticed your sig. How did you get them both to fit? I got one and half of the other when I tried.

Brosca I would say, since I can't see an City elf sparing Loghain with all the slavery crap.

You can resize the "disney princess" one.
I do the breakup then US a lot because....IDK there is just something romantic about it. My nobles always marry either Anora or Alistair, I don't play any other way. My mage usually gets mistress...but I also use Amell for the breakup sacrifice playthrough. My Brosca or Aeducan will likely exile him.Briiel wrote...
@Cme: See that's why I am thinking of trying to do a male to see another aspect. It would be very hard to see a hnf doing that to Ali. I am thinking of doing the US on my mage even tho it will prolly make me bawl.

Agreed. Honestly at that point I also couldn't help but think "Oh geeze, another gift for Alistair. I don't need anymore for him, he's been wrapped around my little finger since Redcliffe. And I still have dialogue options to use."

Thanks Tigress!

I wouldn't give it away, it was MY joining. I always keep that one for myself. I think, in fact, it should have been a gift he gives the warden. When you loot it, cut to Alistair giving it to the warden like the rose.

Anyone remember the name of the nice underwear mod? NB is just....too much.
Isn't in something like Pretty in Pink?
EDIT: Yep, pretty in pink http://social.bioware.com/project/940/

Aww, I don't have the heart to hurt Alistair in any of my games - it makes me sick to my stomach
Another random age question - does it only work if you are startng a new game? because everything seems the same to me.
Edit: Holy crap, I think I just got my answer to that

I'm really enjoying RA, Tigress. So glad you mentioned it.
Have any of you seen this sword mod yet? It is gorgeous, with more to come:
Elvhenan Weapons

Agreed. I know someone else put it as the Warden's evolution, mine just saw it as all her choices (what few there were) being taken away from her. Then a huge, unwanted burden put on her shoulders.DahliaLynn wrote...
Actually, I don't know if I would ever want to see that Chalice again to be honest.

To me, it would remind me of my loss of family . Alistair's painful loss...and so many lives lost. Not to say that the joining was a bad thing, but, it would be pretty painful for me to keep it around.
I suppose you could look at it that way. It's perfectly valid.
But for me, even with all the crap that came with being a Grey Warden, mine also got something totally awesome out of it: Alistair. It would always serve as a reminder of everything that was lost, and also as the beginning of probably the best thing in her life. All in all, I think the scales tip more in the favor of it being something worth holding on to.

Those
are both excellent points of view. But, wouldn't you have rather had
the opportunity to express some of that sentiment via a cutscene of some
sort instead of having the Chalice be simply another one of the dozen
gifts we can give Alistair?

For Marlana (my main warden) her relationship with Alistair was the one and only truly good thing that happened from the moment her family was betrayed. And while she'd never give him up, she regrets that the only way she did get him was from all the losses she suffered. And it took awhile for her to get over being the one put in charge of their happy little group.
The chalice represented an ending to everything Marlana saw her life and not a particularly good beginning after seeing Daveth keel over and die from drinking it.
