Ah, I forgot I had this mod installed. I haven't played in a while, so I was kind of surprised when the option showed up.





And after the mess with Leske and then the broodmother (which I imagine must be even more traumatising when you're a female dwarf) she definitely needed a hug from sis.

Congrats!  I've never seen that either.


I've started my Cousland girl over.  She was only just  out of Lothering.  I installed a bunch of new mods, and I used the toolset to give her a huge backpack.  I've got the Cousland Castle mod installed.  I'm set to go!

I don't feel as bad then.

I just noticed that I have no pictures of any of the origin specifics other than HN and Dwarf Commoner now (thanks yuki) on my Bioware project page. Since I lost my hard drive I don't have any of my own, so if anyone is willing to donate from other origins, let me know!

It has to be opened in the toolset.

And as an aside: I thought I've only played through 3-4 times, but judging by the number of separate folders I have on my backup drives of clearly different variations, I've played closer through 6-7 times, I still have yet to get the ax encounter.

Seriously tempted to get the HN mage mod, just to see what it's like playing as a mage.

Hmmm, so many mods, so little room. Must hit compusa this weekend for a new hard drive.

You know, my first like 3 playthroughs were melee. I was sort of afraid to play a mage, but it is really a lot of fun. I don't hate the mage origin, it's surrounded by suck, but it leaves a lot of room for RP. And it really is fun to play a mage in this game. At least for me.

About the axemeter encounter, I've only seen it once. The odds appear to be higher if you're traveling through the Brecilian Forest.

I'm not sure if having Loghain in the party helps, but he was with me when I got it.

You've never played a mage? 

I find it really hard to play anything else these days.  When I went back to my rogue HNF after playing a few mage pt's, I thought, "I've got to stab all these guys?  Can't I just blow them up?"

See, I'm not an RPG player, which is why I do things different. Well, I played the high elf cleric in Champions on the PS2 (great game btw) but I would consider that more action/adventurous. Same with Oblivion, and I never really played a magic oriented character in that either.
