I dont get how dragonage redesigned is suppose to work. I thought I was gonna be able to mess with settings ,now I have a bunch of "little files in my override folder"

Yeah, those are just the replacement morphs. I think the only settings you get to choose are whether or not you do lore, aesthetics, or the recommended inbetween. You can't mess with indiviual faces, except for your companions.

It does add some fun stuff in the toolset, though...I've just been adding shiny lipstick to a morph

Dragon Age Redesigned is my favourite mod for DA, can't play without it really. Makes the game far more realistic since he toned down the fugly factor by 100%. That and it makes designing new characters in the toolset more fun and in a way easier. His new textures are beautiful. Shame he's not continuing it, the plans he had for it sounded absolutely amazing.

Lol, that's what I was going for but you have to do it in the toolset.

@ Yuki - are you still around?  Were you the one who created body tattoos on a character?  I remember someone here posted a screen of a character they created body tattoos on, and I thought that was you.

You create new morph(s) to use as your character in the game, either as a preset or morph.  Opening the toolset the first time is daunting.  I tinker a little bit with morphs and leave the rest alone, it still scares me  

I use FaceReplacer to edit heads, though, and don't use the way they describe in those instructions.

He isn't? That's really too bad. I can't play without it either and was hoping to see some of his new textures

Do you need DA redesigned to get dracomies textures? I've looked all over for the texture mod but can't find it.

That's why I can't find it then. I'll have to check out DA redesigned. I usuall don't try the things that make wide changes to the game, l've never tried IA either.

There are several to choose from in Base Skin Textures.  Look for the textures with 'glossy' in the name.  Lol, I asked these questions of LadyJess last night and she pointed out the way

You'll have to download the whole package, but if you don't want the npc changes you can install only the textures. Though I highly recommend his changes, they are terrific.

You're welcome, Briiel. Don't forget the info past the first page too. There's a lot of useful stuff in there. For what I needed, it was more helpful than the Toolset Wiki.

I do love DARedesigned though. I'm glad I'm not the only one.

I'm glad you are enjoying the armor Inc.  I'm thinking that the black armor that justice wears can use that same resources file, so I can probably get that in the game too without too much extra work & downloading.  I'll look into after work today.

Neither does the blue and green skintones!


This sword is just amazing looking, so glad you add with the console so you can get more than one, as well.  Can't wait until the daggers and 2H versions are done... Alistair wielding the 2h is going to be something to see
