So I have a question for all those who say that their Warden knows nothing about politics but is going to be Teyrna of Gwaren: doesn't running a teynir involve a lot of politics? Or are you going to find a seneschal you can trust and have him run things?
Odd, I don't recall seeing that many people mention that particular combination. I've never used it. My Dalish took the GW ending with Alistair, so I guess HE is running the show while she's off playing Arlessa in Amaranthine. By the end of the game you can't be totally clueless anyhow. If nothing else, I'd steal Ser Perth from Eamon.
By the time you've navigated the ally quests and the Landsmeet, you know as much about politics as Loghain did when he became teyrn of Gwaren.Sarah1281 wrote...

Kara gets a crash course in politics from Varel before his sad demise, and combines that with people knowledge and her own insight and instincts. She probably runs Amaranthine a bit differently than most arlessas, to be honest. She also does find herself another seneschal though, for counsel and especially for when she's absent from the Keep.
My other Wardens....Amelia my Cousland is my only other one as far as Awakening...I think my blood mage Amell will just let the Seneschal rule since he doesn't care much about anything, my Brosca would probably also let the Seneschal rule, while my Aeducan might take it on himself and relish it since he was raised as royalty. In all of their games, I think, Alistair is King.
I should figure out what my Surana will do...that's a WC ending, so she'll probably have Varel rule at first as she grieves, but then maybe take up the reins herself to show Thedas what an elf and a mage is capable of.

Ha..I didn't know Alistair told the waden she was the reason he thinks he was lucky not to die with the rest of the wardens if the romance wasn't active. Look at Alistair taking the flirting initiative.

@Yankee23, that's such a cute shot! And damn, that EW armor. Damn. Since it conflicts with Forgotten, double damn.
