Hi Alistarians,
If anyone downloded my "King Alistair Armor", I updated the My_ Awak_Resources file to support fut light armor and wepons progects.  You can still use the old file, but if you want the new progects later, you will need to update.  I also uploaded a set of "Justice" style armor.  It uses the same My_awak_resources as the king al armor, so no need to download the resources if you already have them (unless you want to update).

The Justice style armor will spawn 1st load after you defeat the sloth demon in the fade.

Just had to pop in for a quick Alistair fix. Getting close to being done with Awakening and I'm dying to get back to Ali!

I did have one swooning moment this afternoon. I found a staff named "Lamppost in Winter" and I swear just reading that sent chills down my spine as I heard SV's sexy voice saying those words. I'm seriously missing my boytoy!

I tried to play last night because I was craving an Alistair fix, but just not into any of my games atm. More absorbed with The Witcher. And getting ready for Fallout New Vegas *bounces*.

Oh, you finally got into The Witcher? I'm yet to play it, even if I've owned for over a year. I really need to give a try soon.

I had a chance to play Fallout New Vegas for a little while when I went to the Eurogamer Expo. Doesn't really look or feel any different to Fallout 3. Don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing...

Still I was sold on the game the second I picked up the grenade machine gun though...

Ooo! Look a Deathclaw! *lauches 5 grenades* No more Deathclaw!

Yes, I'm enjoying it.  Geralt is way sexy.  Fits right into the whole broody loner vibe I've apparently got going lately!   I also just love how he tells people off.

Anyway, I have a feeling that DahliaLynn will re-spark Alistarianism in a big way with her final scenes mod.  :wizard:

I just got through watching a trilogy of youtube videos entitled "killing everything". The poster created a "psycho elf" (their words, not mine) who basically made every evil choice in the game. Some of them were sick-funny but some made me feel so soiled watching them I feel like showering.

I think I'm going to fire up DA, head to camp and spend some quality time with Alistair.

I do hope he got those roots from Zevran for energy...and I likewise hope he remembered that for volume he needs to arch his...

(not listening! La la la la la!)

You can ask for chancellor as your boon and if you do, or if a HNF marries him, you basically rule the country.

I've only loaded current saves for DA to help remind me for stuff when I'm writing. Once I'm done with the current story, I might try playing one of the other origins.

Hehe, it's the shiny factor every time. :D

Sadly, it's been more fun writing about Orzammar than actually playing it. I suspect I might get lynched for what my character thinks of some of it.

Rinse and repeat.

Yeah she is the charming, blunt type of Warden xD Oh and I have justly updated my story. So yeah.

I feel about Orzammar the way I feel about the Fade --I appreciate it for the accomplishments, XP and stuff I get, but I kind of wish it didn't take so darned long. Granted, there are more accomplishments, XP and stuff to be had in the Orzammar quest, which is why I rank it above the Fade in "things I like to do in DA:O". I barely mind the Deep Roads at all, especially since I now know how freaking big the Dead Trenches are and will go in there properly prepared instead of, as in my first playthrough, having to run ALL the way back to the entrance just to go to Camp. However, I find all the politicking in Orzammar itself quite tedious. I think I picked Bhelen last time primarily because (1) he said the first thing he'd do once he was king would be send troops with me to the surface; and (2) his first "task" involved going to Aeducan Thaig, which I was going to do anyway so, two birds. Done and done.

Now why would I anyone do that? Image IPB

See, that's probably my favorite non-origin part of the entire game. Especially as a dwarf. And a noble. Image IPB

I watched all 3 videos.   :o

I've tried to play psycho characters, but I'm not much good at it.  The thing that made me cringe the most was killing the dog.  I just could not do that.  :(

Darn you, Addai! :P Now I'm going to have to look into this Witcher thing. I was all set to finish my current DA:O playthrough and then move on to one of the number of PS3 games I have that I have STILL yet to play because DA:O swooped me. . .not to mention that I also intend to get Enslaved: Odyssey to the West once the price drops a little. . .sigh.

Well, The Witcher is a PC exclusive game, so it may not be for you (at lest for now).
