Hi all,

Since the mod I am creating is geared towards my fellow devoted Alistairians, I felt that this thread would be most appropriate to post this.

I have created a new poll as far as how you would like to select dresses for the wedding scene.

To elaborate, I am considering one of two options, but am not sure of the popularity of each.

The options can be either using Mod manager to select dresses, or, having a zip file with all dresses inside unique folders, then dropping the dress you want into override. When wanting to change your selection, you would delete and drag a new one in.

Please click on the poll so that I can at least get some sort of insight on what players are used to/ feel more comfortable with.

I like the modmanager choice because it would be easy to change dresses.

I played a little of the Castle Cousland mod this morning.  I just finished killing Thomas Howe's in Bryce's and Eleanor's bedroom.  Like LadyJ has said, it's got some moments/locations that are great for rp.  But what a shame.  This mod could've been so powerful!  Never having made a mod myself, I've no idea what's involved.  But it seems like it would've been so much more effective to have some flashback cutscenes in certain key locations.  Just doing that would've made it mean so  much more.  It would've been even nicer to see your Cousland character react to returning to key rooms.

Forgive me, I'm playing catch up when I can slip away from house guests.  Make sure to kill Thomas Howe enough times to get his 2H sword, it's really nice looking.  Well, might not be as nice as the new Elvhenan, but until that, was the nicest, imo.

Would be great if something could be done when looking at the parents' portraits, could have been so good.

I voted for modmanager as well. I wasn't sure if your mod would be compatible with my playstyle since EqualLove is the cornerstone to all my playthroughs.

I also suggested that it would be a plus if the manager would be able to flag potential conflics since I'm certain players have many mods going on at once.

I'll remind you that Arcturus is an expert duelist and a master of "backstabs". He can "backstab" 3 people in 1-2 seconds with flicker. And with pinpoint strike, he can make every single move of his a critical hit for a time. And with his extremily high cunning, his penetration score is unrivalled. 

So he's fully equipped to attend to the needs of 3 people without any assistance

Oh we sooo need a Arcturus morph soon . The ladies will all want to see these moves ;)


@DL: I voted Modmanager also because I use that for alot of my mods.

Basically as it stands the mod does not conflict with anything.
The one issue here is, that it was designed to work with Human Noble female only, and I've worked tirelessly for months to perfect the animations so that indeed it would look believable and fit perfectly. 
If there are any mods that change the physical nature of the PC, then the scene will not fire, and this is to preserve the quality of the scene. There would be nothing more disturbing to me than to see horrible clipping issues in a scene that I worked so hard to perfect.
If I see that the demand is high enough, I may be able to change that in the future and create a special scene for males, but currently since this is my first "big baby" I need to see how it turns out. It would take me ages to make it visually compatible with other sized PCs.

It's all good,  DahliaLynn. I completely understand that the Equal Love mod changes the fundamental framework of how romance works in the game.  Thanks for the clarification.

As for seeing if the demand will be high enough for male nobles, I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess...HELL, YES!!!!!! 

And as for a Arcturus morph...admitting that this is obviously a male/female freeky-deeky topic, I'll go ahead and sit this one out.

Oh, look ... "Showgirls" is on cable again. No one can lick a dance pole like Elizabeth Berkely!

No it will fire regularly as long as you are Female Human Noble origin lore wise and visibly. The proportion mods have no effect since they affect width as opposed to height.

Why would you be asking if you aren't going to be using the mod? Unless I misunderstood.

Presumably the sex itself (for both) lasts longer than the fifteen-second or so cutscene.

After seeing what our modders here are capable of, I do wish something more could've been done with this.  Yeah, a cutscene looking at the portraits would've been great.  I would've loved to have seen cutscenes of flashbacks of key moments ... Bryce, Duncan and Howe talking together, Nan yelling at Dog, Oren talking about his sword of truthiness, Bryce & Eleanor's last moments!  And hearing voices from the past when you enter certain rooms.   And for most of that, you wouldn't even need to do new scenes.  It could've been incredibly moving.

I would think since Alistair is an experienced Pike Twirler, he would have lasted a bit longer. :innocent:
