@Tuppence: How do you get the respec mod open ?? it says bin ship ,I found that and if I use the updater it doesn't show it in my folder.

*edit - It's one of the things I love about this game.  There are layers to explore if you care to take the time.  Many people just walk away seeing Alistair as just "the whiner," Zev as the "sleeze," Morrigan as "cold and mean," and Leliana as "crazy."  It's their loss if they don't find out what's underneath those exteriors.

This. That is the reason why I'm still playing this game even without mods- the characters. <3

But I really hate people who catagorize characters simply like that, although they don't take the time to learn more about them. It's stupid. I'm not really a fan of Loghain for example but I took an insight in his POV as well. Doesn't mean that I like the character more now, but I at least understand why he acted like he did. Might be a hobbyhorse of mine as a FF writer, to actually analyze a character but I like to know why a character is how she/he is. 

Oh Alistair can be pretty dark and borderline self-destructing given the (extreme) circumstances. Though I think that makes him only even more human as a character and it's fun to show this side of him in a FF too (which has Maria13 perfectly done btw) <3

It should be a .dazip file called Character_Respec_Mod_v1_6-14.dazip.  Just use ModManager or the Daupdater to install.

it gave me a folder called WRK_Respec_Mod_1.6_SRC_Builder.zip



I try to unzip it and it gives me nothing to work with either and damodmanager wont take it

Briiel: It's a dazip, so you don't unzip it. You need to use the daupdater.exe. You can either search for it on your pc or follow this path:

Program Files -> Dragon Age -> bin_ship -> daupdater.exe

Run that and it'll bring up a window. Click select dazips and find the file. Then select the file and click install dazip.

Edit:  The daupdater.exe is not the modmanager.

yeah I tried that . when I would open the daupdater.exe the file wouldn't show up at all in the list of "zip's".I tried both ways with it to the folder how it downloads all zipped . and unzipping it.
I deleted the file and used the one on the nexus site and it worked like a champ.

Thank you so much for the kind words!  I was so sure my mage was going to be my main character but when Alistair dumped him I rolled up the rogue and had such a blast playing him that he's become my main. I'm still undecided on his backstory. Since he really doesn't resemble Bryce of Eleanor Cousland I was thinking he might have been adopted as an infant. Or it could be just a random quirk that genetics are known for.

I opted for the random quirk with Marlana since she was very much her parents' child personality wise. Well, not as girly as her mother would've preferred, but both parents had a reputation for kicking butt and taking names.

Well, Alistair's been known to fix that....

More pouty-lipped goodness. I kinda like that melancholy look to him. It shows what he's been through (and lost) when he had to flee Highever.

I think everyone here has a prominent profile picture *hugs her Dalish cookie*. When that changes I have to look twice to the name to recognize the person. But I like your Dalish, she is pretty, ...and apparently pretty stubborn as well, right? Ah well aren't they special, lol.

Following the lines below, our favorite Warden replies:

"For you, maybe.  But it has to be a pretty dress."


@mage -- aren't rogues fun?  I swear I keep promising myself I'll try the other classes again (have done them all at least once) but when it comes time to choose... it's usually a rogue.

I always pick that response just so I can hear him (w/ that sexy voice) say that line. Gives me eargasms everytime.
