On the subject of when we fell for Alistair:
When I 1st got the game, all over the box & stuff, Bioware was like,"oooohh, look you can romance characters".  I was just thinking - pffft,  yipdy dipy doo.  I had recently finished Fable, and the "romances" there were the dopeiest things I had ever seen, I thought this would be the same thing.  Looking at the pictures on the box, I thought "I'm not romancing any of these dorks".

My 1st game was a male cousland. After meeting Al, I thought, "ok the big blond dorkey guy is a cool friend".  Then I met Zev, and since I have an unholy love of spanish accents, I decided to play a girl & romance him.  Once my Lady Cousland met Al, there was no chance for Zev.  I don't know when or where it happed, but the dynamic between him & the girl vs guy characters is just so different. He swept my cynical, jadded, cold hearted self off my feet before I even knew what happened

My Cousland mage uploaded and the story is human noble, and the talents are the mage talents. This has been interesting, playing an AW Cousland. So far it seems to be working, hopefully it all goes well during the whole game.

@ Rak - I played an elf mage for my first character and fell into the romance with Alistair pretty much by accident.  I had no knowledge of the endings, but when I found out, by accident, that elves and mages couldn't marry Alistair, she got dumped in a hurry and a HNF was created immediately.

Oh, I knew I liked him right away, for a video game character. I just didn't realize how much until on my first elf mage playthrough I was horrified when he dumped her and devastated when he killed archie.

I figure it'd be possible to make a replacement for underwear model wearing pants rather than underwear. Would be easier if the character could keep the boots on though, barefoot version would need some more tweaking done to the pants model since i don't think there's one like that available for reuse.

Boots are fine with the pants...lol, big green sneakers would be fine with the pants! (But not preferable, of course)

The armor doesn't bother me, but I've always thought that mages should wear something more practical like a tunic and pants once they leave the Tower.

Not a problem. For my rogue it was more SICIP (So In-Character It's Pathetic)  .

If the mod didn't exist I would have been content ending up with Zevran and having a bromance with Alistair. But I promised myself that if I ever met Mr. Gaider I would ask him if it was possible that the game's devs underestimated Alistair's box-office appeal.

Really? I thought it was fairly obvious after speaking with both Morrigan and Riordan that one of you would die. It was pretty anvilicious IMO.

It was one thing knowing or expecting, it was quite another when it actually happened with no intervening event.
