if these people do play a part in trying or succeeding in taking the woman he loves from him, he does not go around hurting or killing them.

I'm pretty much sure that he would go on a killing spree to free her from Fort Drakon without hesitation. Raawr. But I know that's a different case. Still rawr, ;)

Actually one of the options is to wait to be rescued, you can chose who does the rescuing. So he could do the killing spree thing. But being the independent sort my Warden always rescues herself. ;)

And is always greeted at the entrance by Alistair and Morrigan (not my choice, not sure how the game does the selection), which I find amusing.

I realize it's a little off topic but I just had to share my daughter's talent with you guys. She loves dragons and we just got the "How to Train Your Dragon" dvd this afternoon. This is the character, "Toothless" from the movie.

and to be on Topic, YAY Alistair! (Rather, Rolistair, who was the version I used my last playthrough. Now he's sporting the Sparta-stair look for my current Surana game)

My Warden as well, but for my FF I plan to make her unable to do so.  She is pretty much wounded from the prior fight, weaponless and at the mercy of the guards. And an almost naked female elf alone in a cell? Not a good thing. So I will have Alistair in total Berserker rage, who goes on a blind killing spree for once to save her. RAWR.

Lenya's knight in a bloody armor, so to speak :wizard:

@Syl That dragon is adorable <3

In Return to Ostagar, when you say you're going to leave Cailan's body to rot.  That dialogue line is actually edited slightly, since I use it when Alistair disapproves of stuff.  I believe the longer line talks about how Cailan was the king and deserves better.

I've been debating on how to write up Fort Drakon myself. If I can ever get past the Deep Roads. But yeah, I can see Alistair butchering his way through things to save his lady.

Yes :crying:

But then when I read the slides afterwards I just got angry.
For the US ending it went something along the lines of: "Alistair remained with the Grey Wardens but was heard saying that it just was not the same. To Anora's relief he left Ferelden for good."

I mean what the f..... I respect you Anora but the man just lost the woman he loves. Show some bloody respect.

With the WC ending it was the fact that no slide mentioned Alistair at all. You'd think that considering my Warden loved him there would be something about how she mourned him.

Blah. Now it's done and from now on I will have sparkly, no death endings.

I managed to do the US ending, barely, on my HNF. I can't bring myself to do the WC. And the Redeemer ending means I have to do it on a character that hasn't gotten involved with Alistair because after hearing some of the lines in the toolset, I really don't want them directed at a character of mine.

Since I have yet to be successful in ignoring the charms of a certain former templar, I probably won't get that ending either. But that's okay, I like my semi-happy endings.

Awful, isn't it? I'm in the Deep Roads myself atm and it's not only a total horror trip and nightmare-fuel for my both Wardens, it's also for me. Bleargh, I'm so effing glad when I can give finally give the finger to the Orzammar storyline and move on. <_<

Right? I don't mind the Dead Trenches and the Anvil of the Void because at least the story is good, and the whole Deep Roads experience gets me a TON of cash and XP and it's basically like steroids for your characters, because once they come out of there they can pretty much take on anything, but the politics and infighting crap is just :pinched:. And each house says they can't send troops because then the other house will take over. Hey, how about this --how about you send me ALL of your troops from ALL of your houses and then no one has an unfair advantage? Plus, your political dispute is bound to be less bloody that way, what with a great number of your warriors getting killed on the surface. Sound like a plan? Yes? :o

No? :?

*sigh* Fine then. . .off to the Deep Roads I go. . .<_<

I finally got to play more of my new Cousland Miriel.  Her story has been a little different so far.  She was in such shock after Howe's attack and then Ostagar, that she's been kinda stumbling around unfocused.  She went the wrong way after leaving Lothering, got lost and ran into the merchant Felix.  She ended up with a golem companion.  Then she decided to follow up on some of the rumors she heard in Lothering, so she went all the way up to Denerim to find Genetivi.  While up there, Alistair helped her take back Cousland Castle.  They crossed the country again and found Genetivi and the ashes.  Then they checked up on the next Lothering rumor they heard, and cleaned out the Circle Tower of abominations.  They're finally in Redcliffe now.

While saving the mages, Alistair is becoming more interested.

I am seriously ready for a skip orzammar mod. Give me a multiple choice script

Choose Your King:
A: Bhelen
B: Harrowmont

Recruit Oghren:
A: Yes
B: No

To anvil or not to Anvil?
A: Kill Branka and destroy the anvil
B: Kill Caradin and Spare Anvil

The End.
