Tis hard to post when every single character I have is stuck in Dwarf Hell Central. God I HATE the whole Orzammar treaty so very much.
Right? I don't mind the Dead Trenches and the Anvil of the Void because at least the story is good, and the whole Deep Roads experience gets me a TON of cash and XP and it's basically like steroids for your characters, because once they come out of there they can pretty much take on anything, but the politics and infighting crap is just. And each house says they can't send troops because then the other house will take over. Hey, how about this --how about you send me ALL of your troops from ALL of your houses and then no one has an unfair advantage? Plus, your political dispute is bound to be less bloody that way, what with a great number of your warriors getting killed on the surface. Sound like a plan? Yes?
No?
*sigh* Fine then. . .off to the Deep Roads I go. . .<_<

I realize it's a little off topic but I just had to share my daughter's talent with you guys. She loves dragons and we just got the "How to Train Your Dragon" dvd this afternoon. This is the character, "Toothless" from the movie.

Yep, love the Deep Roads, not so keen on Orzammar, itself. Still, I find it, and all the quests, important from a characterization point of view.Caladhiel wrote...
I'd have to agree with Reika, I find Orzammar itself even *more* tedious than the Deep Roads. All this running to and fro for petty Dwarven backstabbing politics is so absolutely and abysmally frustrating! And the city itself is so boring and... long! Every area is made up of an eternally long corridor, just to give you the pleasure of having to run to the end and back every single time -.-

What may even be worse for me than the Orzammar quest is that it tends to be the last thing I do before Landsmeet, so by the time I'm done with it I'm all "OMFG, THANK THE MAKER THAT'S OUT OF THE WAY. Get me to this Landsmeet, let me throw down with Loghain and let's get this Blight-ending show on the road!" But NOOOOOOO. . .there's *more* political crap to go through, and intrigues to be plotted, and other peoples' intrigues to be discovered, and OH FOR DOG'S SWEET SAKE CAN WE JUST GET ON WITH IT. If I haven't already, I really start to bond with Sten and Shale at that point. I want to crush heads and scream in Qunari.

At this point I just wish the game would play itself, only bothering me when it comes time to make a choice xD

I actually enjoyed the mage tower, except for the Fade, and Redcliffe, also loved the Sacred Ashes quest.
Didn't like Orzammar, and the dalish were irritating.
I had fun with the Landsmeet, it was a bit more interesting with the politics because you had more than just 2 choices.

Orzammar is easily my favorite treaty quest. But that shouldn't come off as a big surprise.
