Probably why I didn't keep the save where I did make Harrowmont king. Couldn't stand the thought of two Eamons running around. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/bandit.png[/smilie]
It's terrifying to say the least.
Isn't it though? Because between Harrowmont and Eamon, I could see both countries getting ruined.

I can understand their reactions to humans. And while I found their attitudes to my HNF annoying, they really ticked me off with the first CE I tried playing. It felt like they looked down on her even more than my human.
seeing it through my character's eyes, there is a reason for it. They
are kin, perhaps, yes but they are elves who have submitted to the
humans, adapted their religion and have forgotten about what it means to
be elven. City elves are willingly at the mercy of men in their cities
and this is something a Dalish elf (also my character) can't grasp and
understand. Or how Morrigan once said. "Better hardship and danger than slavery."
Yes, but the CE in question took the first chance to get out of the Alienage. It just involved slaughtering lots of humans and getting conscripted to finally get out.
It just seemed like the Dalish expected everyone to compromise in their favor for everything, and made no attempt to even try to understand other people. I'm not saying the humans weren't horrible to the elves, they were.
Edit for ToP, just because I thought this was a cute pic.
