That would be it.

Yet even a screenie is not enough to capture the divine awesomeness of that moment. It's in the turn of the head, the stunned/horrified way the brow jerks up, ect.

But yeah. That's my favorite EOD moment.:wub::wub::wub:

It's certainly a sight, the two red-heads in the red dresses^^ Reminds me a little of Moulin rouge :kissing:

hehe I just did it because I think the dresses are hilarious. They look like they belong at the pearl doing cancan dances:O

Dalish elves have a safe and easy life? o_O

Compared to city elves?  Absolutely.  They have weapons to defend themselves, and if it comes to it the ability to leave.

I have to say no.  The Dalish still have to face a nomadic life in the worst of wilderness places, being hunted by humans.  Not saying the city elves have it easy but it's a miracle the Dalish have survived at all.

Another reason to dislike the Dalish - if you end the curse, there is that chick who attacks you when you go back into the Brazilian forest from the camp. WTF, I just saved all of your butts, and you are going to attack me?? I don't remember Sarel talking about his wife either. I do like the dalish guy you pick up off the forest floor, and the Danylas husband.

She wanted vengeance for her husband.  From her perspective, you let the werewolves go when what you had been sent to do was kill them and bring back a cure.  The Dalish are a warlike culture, hotheaded, inclined for very good reasons not to trust any human including the Warden.  Anyway she doesn't attack you, she confronts you and if you don't talk her down it escalates.  Not saying she's right to do it, just that people don't always just need to kiss the Warden's feet.  Some fool attacks you in Denerim for supposedly killing Cailan- does that mean you hate humans?

Anyway, Alistair....  we are nearing page 500!!!

I know  :(    I got to the point where I play until Alistair, then that's it for me.  I've played it a few times until the end, actually the most fun was playing spirit warrior archer, that made me giggle until the end because it's so overpowered.  Those one-hit kills kept me amused.

Spirit warrior archer in action...1226 damage was on the low side, too!

That was my male Cousland and he's wearing Underworld armour, which looks much different on men, of course. He's also halfway transparent, that's why he looks that way.

I'm going to play Awakening a second time to rectify mistakes and bugs from my first playthrough. I started to do that before, but decided to put it aside and do it with a different warden. I'm considering that it might be interesting to do an ending where Alistair stays with the grey wardens, then have Alistair be the warden commander in Awakening. I'm wondering what playing him in character as the PC might be like, and if it would turn out to be different than my PC. Probably not too much as all my PCs are 'good', but it might still be interesting. That is, if face replacer works in Awakening. I don't know if it does.

No, it's hard to tell because he's a spirit warrior and halfway transparent.

I did the Grey Warden ending with Alistair so he doesn't turn up in the game at all. No letter, no nothing. It sucks big time.

Sadly, I'm starting to grow a bit tired of Origins. Played it too many times.

I added Random Age and am currently playing on Nightmare with RA set at '3'.  It's been an exciting game so far (understatement).  I, too, have played many many many times, but I keep coming up with fun things to do in it so keep on.  Last game my goal was for Morrigan to reach 100,000 in Friendly Fire damage.  Unfortunately she didn't reach that goal, but 70,000+ wasn't too shabby! lol

I've got to say though, I had gotten to the point of being able to finish the game in three days, then turn around and start again.  That has changed as it takes more like two weeks to finish one up now.

i have 5 playthroughs in progress, none in awakening. Unfortunateltt these 5 are all do-overs because I lost a bunch of save files. And that's what is killing me. They should be done, and I have to redo them.  Even Alistair isn't helping.

That is a very interesting idea. It's not like too many people (if anyone) actually refer to the warden in any way that would seem odd if it was Alistair.

Yeah me too.  I'm almost done with The Witcher, and then I'll be disappearing into Fallout New Vegas for a while... I hope.  Man I really hope that game doesn't suck, I've got my expectations too high for it.

Hah. I'm getting a new PC on Monday so I'm going to replay Mass Effect and then I'm planning on getting ME2. Hopefully a little break will be good. Although I will miss Alistair. Sad but true.

Hey, that's kind of a neato idea. If you do a playthrough like that, you'll have to let us know how it goes. And show screenshots. Image IPB

Hey that sounds like a great idea! And yes you can switch morphs in Awakening. Or are you talking about some mod in particular?
