So think he'd be a vanilla soldier or a vanguard? For some reason I could totally see him doing a vanguard charge into a pack of enemies. :D

Exactly!  Screaming, "Stay away from my woman!"  The only thing is that I would poke his eyes out if he was forever checking diagnostics.

Hehe, I can't see him willingly checking out diagnostics when he's got a lady interested in him in that manner. As much as I found the Garrus romance in ME2 to be amusing, the whole calibration thing was irritating.

And I was rather pleased with that shot, normally I'm epic fail at taking a decent screen cap.

Edit: Bah ToP. Recycled it is because I don't have anything new.

I liked the Garrus romance, it was sweet and awkward at the same time, plus Garrus is made out of pure radiant awesomeness.

He was the only one I thought that was a good romance in ME2, but it was still kind of eh.

Though the romances (even though I didn't do a lot with the others) in DAO just kind of blew that out of the water.

The ME2 romances are much shorter than in any other Bioware game.
That being said I still like Garrus even if some people claim its nasty to romance an alien over Jacob or Kaidan, while playing a Female Shepard.

Maybe it's just because turians are so common in ME but I actually would have a bigger problem romancing Thane from a purely inhuman aspect (although the clips I've seen of his romance are really sweet).

I have played it out, and it is fairly nice, Thane is a very interesting charachter to talk to even as a friend.
I just hate that Garrus has no converastions really, its so annoying.

I was heartbroken that Kaidan wouldn't come to his senses, but I was also very pleased to be able to romance Garrus, even though it was such an awkward thing. My fem Shepard was attracted to Garrus the first time around, so getting him to notice her in ME2 was a treat.

However, I have to agree with Reika, none of the romances in ME or ME2 held a candle to DAO, but... Shep's one night with Kaidan was downright hot!

Can't wait to play ME2. Been wanting to give Garrus a special tour in my PC's underwear since I first saw him in ME1

Valiantly not romancing anyone in ME2 had better pay off in ME3...

Or in the rumored Alliance DLC that may or may not be coming before Christmas.

The romance will make you laugh very hard a few times, and :crying: a little bit at the end.
I dont really feel much attachment to games, but really the Garrus romance is amazingly done.

Plus when he has nothing new to say (which is often) then it's nice to hear something other than 'Can it wait? I'm right in the middle of some calibrations.'

The same thing happens to many people.

Outside of a few other people they run out of stuff to say quickly.
Except Legion, he has LOTS to say.

That's a good point. Why is it only Garrus whose stock line gets annoying? Jacob keeps telling me he doesn't like talking (WTF?), Miranda's got paperwork, Tali's working on the engines, Legion's reaching a consensus, Samara's meditating, Grunt doesn't like talking either (much more realistic), Mordin's got experiments, Jack is going to kill me if I don't stop bothering her...I'm actually not sure what Thane says.

Yah there is little conversation in game really, shame since there were much longer convos in ME1 than in 2.

Just finished Awakening. Happy with the ending slide I guess. Let's hope the Warden and your old companions turn up in DA3 (if there's gonna be one)

It's when Alistair appoints him as Regent. Eamon eagerly accepts with such a smug look on his face... ugh! At that moment all I could think was, "hmph, this is what you wanted from the start, right? Douchebag!".

Why does that make Eamon a douchebag?  It's the obvious choice and it's a necessary spot.  I have my days with Eamon, but really, he did the country a great service in calling the Landsmeet.  It's what Loghain should have done.

^ What? Lol, in all my games I have never had this happen. Well, at least not that I can recall in recent memory.

That always happens as far as I know.  Alistair has to go fight the Blight and expects to die, hence he's putting Eamon in charge until (supposing he dies) Anora can be crowned.  Alistair steps up and shows himself kingly here.  He really does a pretty good job of the LM if hardened.  I know some people don't like his trying to take the throne if Loghain is spared, but that is him saying justice has to be done and I think his motivation is mainly to see the Blight defeated.  He sees Anora and Loghain as not taking it seriously.

In one of Gaider's podcasts, he did not rule out being able to play our Wardens in the future. :)

No, it's not. Apparently some things take precedence.

Well I have an unnatural hate for Eamon so that may play a part. ^_^

It's the way he says it and the facial expression he does. This combined with the conversation you have with him where you tell him that Alistair would make a terrible King (where he says, "and if he doesn't know what to do he knows who to turn to"), just reinforces my belief that Eamon just wants to use Alistair as a puppet.

Where's KoP and his Dain picture? I'd like to replace Dain with Eamon...

You are comparing Eamon to Dain?!
Dain loved pushing him over btw

I personally don't hate Eamon at all and I don't blame him for wanting to increase his power. Good for him.
What I find funny however is him trying to convince me that Alistair would make a good king, while he is talking about Alistair in the 3rd person right when he is next to us. Yes Eamon, what an excellent way to convince me that Alistair can handle it, when you his main loyalist don't even bother to show him respect.

Not so much a comparison, but it would be funny to replace Dain's face with Eamon. Although if they're power hungry bastards the comparison may be accurate. :P

And yes, his attempt at convincing the Warden that Alistair would make a fine King is not exactly great.
