Sigh, why are people so literal minded? What happened to poetic metaphors?
They died out as soon as men stopped wooing women
Which is a shame, imo.

And personally, the whole "I love you and I can't live without you" concept is not something I agree with. It just doesn't sound like a healthy relationship. To me it's more like, "I love you, but I can live without you. I just don't want to."
If taken literally, of course.
But I don't know, being told "Meeh, I can live without you just fine, I don't need you for anything and I am just here with you to have some fun along the way, which I can just as easily find it somewhere else, I just don't want to be bothered looking" is not something that would make me feel warm inside.
Now if saying that someone is needed for a happy life, that is fine for me. Still depends on how it is said. If someone literally falls apart without you, well then that is unhealthy.
That's my interpretation, and you can't blame a guy for looking.Sarah1281 wrote...
If that's what it says, it sounds more like he finds two girls together hot which we know is true from when you proposition Isabela.yukidama wrote...
Yeah, from the toolset-
"What about Leliana, then? I mean, sure... hot... but I don't like the idea of you leading her on."

Yea, not as bad as that. Though I don't really know the legal implciations, if there are any.
People just don't do that and that's that.
It's something I agree with, I think PDA is inappropriate (not the punishment, just that it's inappropriate). The distinction between public and private is a good thing imo.

I myself could care less about PDAs. I personally do like restricting romantically inclined interactions to areas without an audience, but if other people want to, I don't really care. So long as it does not involve opening trenchcoats and displaying their tawdry wares, or copulating on the hood of my car on a morning I'm late for work, I can pretty much phase it out.

Is that an actual screenshot or did you manipulate it? Either way, I love it!

I don't particularly care about PDA either. I don't know, I guess I don't care about what other people do as long as it doesn't interrupt what I'm doing.
But the LIs in DA are totally up to doing it in public. Heck, they practically make out in front of their friends all the time! Not to mention airing all their relationship laundry in front of other people (declaration of love/ breaking up/ blah).

Well it wouldn't ruin my day either. I just think when I am walking on the street, I don't really want to see others being too affectionate in my way. OIr when I am at a resturant tryign to eat with my family. They can do that somewhere private and not bother the rest.
So it doesn't really matter to me whether it's banned or allowed. I slightly side with banning because of personal convinction, as long as it's reasonable and not excessive like holding hands or hugging is now a PDA. But I wouldn't make an agenda out of it. I prefer letting society and culture regulate itself on its own, without the government. I think it has done weel so far back home, in this at least.

Thats one thing nice about living on an army post. No PDA in uniform, so you don't see alot past hand holding. And when we have a formal even like a ball, noone is sucking each others faces off on the dance floor, because...guys are in uniform. Handholding and hugging, and a chaste kiss is the limit. It's a nice atmosphere.
