Well it wouldn't ruin my day either. I just think when I am walking on the street, I don't really want to see others being too affectionate in my way. OIr when I am at a resturant tryign to eat with my family. They can do that somewhere private and not bother the rest.

So it doesn't really matter to me whether it's banned or allowed. I slightly side with banning because of personal convinction, as long as it's reasonable and not excessive like holding hands or hugging is now a PDA. But I wouldn't make an agenda out of it. I prefer letting society and culture regulate itself on its own, without the government. I think it has done weel so far back home, in this at least.

I agree on letting society regulate and settle into it's own norms and boundaries without legal or government interference.

it is incredible nauseating when you are settling down for a good meal, and having two people in a booth next to me groping, dry humping, and slurping tongues while I'm trying to eat. But I'd much rather be able to turn around and dump a pitcher of ice water on them to cool their jets than having a cop or governent offical butt in.

I'm not really bothered by people getting up to stuff in public, but abandoned places, like parks at night or abandoned buildings. Some people, for one reason or another, really don't have access to privacy.

Yeah if a guy woo's me I would be a happy camper !! I am very romantic at heart so I get what your saying KoP.
In a relationship and the person your with is someone you truly want to be with . They are someone your attached to . yes you can live without them but living with them makes your soul soar .It's like finding something you've been missing.

But then I listen to music that has Lyrics like "When two become one" and "When you really love a woman,You tell her that she's the one":wub:

Yea, I agree. Exactly.

For me, being in love is feeling that you're special to someone who is special to you.
And you might not die when you lose something special. But your life wouldn't be the same without it.
That's how I see it at least.

Okay, Morrigan doing it in a Chantry could practically be canon. Come on, you know she would/has before!;)

I'd much rather take Alistair's Chantry Cherry right in front of a reverend mother. Or some templars.:bandit::wizard::devil:

If something like that happened back home, the customers would complain to the restaurant manager, that is if he / she didn't notice before, and then those people would be politely asked to stop. If they continue, they are either asked to stop again, or asked to leave. If they keep doing it, they might be forced to leave.

I wouldn't shed a tear for them.

@ Inclemency
I was joking, I don't like military regimes ^_^
Good manners is the right set of words.

You're a freak. I like you. I wouldn't do it in front of the Revered Mother for fear that she might enjoy that

I'd be happy with the manners being mandatory. When he came home from basic doors were opened for me, (still are). He actually got frustrated when I kept getting to the doors first and MOVED my butt out of the way to open it for me...lol

But the "Yes ma'am" response when you're spoken to, doors being opened, sigh...it's nice. Right until we drive out of the gates.

Other odd rules: No talking on your cell phone while walking in uniform. Same applies to smoking.

Edit: There are far more things that make me GLAD to leave the gates however...tis a double edged sword:P

See I'm used to military life. I was born and raised in it. I don't mind people holding hands or having an arm around them. Or even stealing little kisses. But when there trying to suck each others faces off then I want to gag . I was with my sister one time and we were walking down the street . We came across a couple making out on the sidewalk. We almost expected them to start doing it right there. My sister (she's a mouth) says to them "Do we need to get popcorn to watch this show?"

I died laughing because I forgot how bold she was but the couple was pissed at her >.>

Sound's good to me. If it's a private establishment, then the owners or managers have every right to enforce a standard of conduct they feel best suits the atmosphere, or personal views on how they wish their business to be conducted.

And customers shooing them out sounds good to me. A fine example of self rule, really.

Yes!  Fighting darkspawn really gets the adrenalin up and that's a perfect way to cool down.  But, hey, I'd just settle for him initiating any sort of physical contact after the first night.  I keep hoping some lovely modder will come up with something like that... my PCs would be all over it!

Ha! I'd have the same reaction.

I am very strict with public appearance. It's something I got from my family I guess.
Good to know I am not alone!

No carrying things your right hand when in uniform. No putting your hands in your pocket while in uniform. No carrying a god damn umbrella when it's raining cats and dogs out. Better have your gortex top and bottom handy.

ARGGGGGHHHHH! Why didn't I just go to college?!

Yah, she sure does, and I understand completely and would do the same if I was she in those circumstances.

There were similarities when I was in. Absolutely no PDAs in uniform. Smoking was frowned upon, but the rule was seldom enforced. Cellphones were still a novelty or the yuppies, so that wasn't a problem. Though now I would agree on the Cellphone thing, I'd even ban them from Batallion and other work areas during duty hours.

Being required to use good manners for the first time in my life was a bigger challenge for me than firing 50 caliber weapons, or having to do 48 hour work shifts.

She really isn't. The room is (from what I understand) is far away from the actual battle so there's not much a single fighter can add that would't be gained from barricading the entrance to the room. Haven't played the Origin though so don't really know all the details.

I don't either ...lol But there are so many. Like I am to walk on his LEFT so his right arm is free to salute, if it's raining, I can offer an umbrella but it must be black. Sometimes it's just a royal pain in the arse! Though I can't imagine it's any better being Alistair's queen. And, Also? Soldiers aren't allowed to ...caboodle...if they're in the same chain of command. Thank the Maker the Wardens have no such rule!
