Can there be a mod that adds Eleanor in there? Maybe re-use some of her dialogue?
Like "You know I love you".... :crying:

Don't get me started with that...I was so heartbroken at what had happened that I had to replayed that scene again after finishing the human noble origin because I chose "what brought this on" response from the first playthrough.  The second time I made sure I said "I love you, too." Image IPB

EDIT
ToP. Alistair has a sad 'coz mum Cousland died and Warden can't do anything about it.

Oh we have those witty comebacks to !! :o:O"Whatever floats your boat". There is another one that my mum says that cracks me up to and I can't remember it right now.
My mum was born here in Maine and I was born in Georgia so we have a long standing joke about her being a Yankee. Our family is always cracking jokes and smart assed comments .:whistle:

My bf and his dad are so full of smart ass'd comments.  It's funny how your fam gives your mum a hard time.  Bf's fam does the same to theirs and her reactions are always amusing (the fiery Scot that she is).  It's not the same w/ his dad.  He's your typical Irish that keeps their emotions in and deals w/ it by drinking pints every weekend.

Haha My dad can't be like that he has 4 daughters and claims we're the reason he has grey hairs!:whistle:He is very gruff in manners but we give him grief to!!
When he turned 40 I got him a troll that said "40 isn't old if your a tree" (wich was in refrence to his height):whistle:

@ Zjarcal

Someone should make that mod, I want to have teary eyes! Seriously though, I think this was an injustice. Not hating Bryce, but it's Eleanor who sacrificed her life for you whether you liked it or not. She should have been there. But for it to be completely fair, both should be present.

@ Briiel.

Thank you, I really appreciate it :)

And I have to go to sleep too.

I want to apologize for derailing the thread...twice this evening. And for not explaining remarks about a very touchy subject properly, I should have known better. So sorry about that.

And I'll say I greatly enjoyed talking about romantic stuff here. Too bad tragedy came next, but still.

Anyways good night!

I know this is going further OT, but I just wanted to respond to the "raping and torturing of Eleanor" line of thought. Why is it assumed that that's what happens to her?

I am not saying this is what happened to her. I don't think it happened.

It's just what my PC would have thought a great possibility during all taht stress, fear and horror he's experiencing. Because she is the Teyrna, so they might think it's more "symbolic".

But even if he knew 100% that they wouldn't do this to her, I would have still knocked her out and got her out of there if she couldn't be convinced.

Yeah, not like this is pleasant to think about, but that is what tends to happen to women in wartime.  Demoralize your enemy, but also I imagine just the bloodlust and adrenaline of battle plays a part.  Considering Eleanor would go down fighting, I think it unlikely in her case, but it is always a possibility.

Now I'm going to go think of puppies and sunshine.

Ugh, wasn't planning on romancing anyone - being a Grey Warden and all - but his eyes... so dreamy...

Oh no, once again I missed an interesting discussion.
Just want to add that my HNF are angry at their mother because she prefers to die a pointless, arguably romantic death at the side of her husband, ignoring her duty as Teyrna of Highever and leaving her youngest child with the impossible task of dealing with Howe's treachery.

I always thought it unlikely that the 55-y-o teyrna is going to delay anyone for a significant amount of time. It's a matter of seconds. I don't want to imagine what it might mean for Bryce to see his wife die (or worse), assuming he lives long enough.

They eventually forgive their mother (and themselves for giving up on the stubborn woman) but that's how they feel most of the time.

LOL That's familiar, without Eleanor and Dog no way would my HN make it out without liberal use of killallhostiles

Sounds like many of my Wardens.  Even the ones I have tried to play without romancing him... he's just tooooooo cute to resist!

It's so hard not to romance him.  Especially when there are so many opportunities to start one...and it's so hard not to choose those options when he looks at your character like that.
