Whoa, removed kneecaps make huge difference with this armour. And the amount of work that went into the whole thing... crazy.Addai67 wrote...
Another nice one from dA. Two female elves are the artist's PC and a PC of a friend of hers. So, Alistair gets double elf action, I guess- score!
Guess I don't understand how the templars know the difference of whether a person becomes possessed willingly or not. Wouldn't willingly make it worse? Anyway, I do think everyone is putting forth extra effort because it's a child. And rightly so.sylvanaerie wrote...
One of the dialogues with Irving says the only reason sending a mage in there and confronting a demon works this time is the mage (in this case Connor) williing gave himself to the demon (for whatever reasons). He also goes on to say he's glad we are choosing this option as slaying a small boy like this would be a tragedy. It makes me believe that things do work out well for him (and his ending card says he passes the Harrowing without difficulty). Since I saw no other hints (aside from Eamon's broken lines which show up even if you kill Connor) that there was trouble a'brewing behind the scenes, I'm gonna consider it a 'save', regardless of what method you used to enter the Fade.
I've only killed the boy once and then I had to have Isolde do it. That's one horrible wretched scene. The only thing that hurt more for me was when I accidentally murder knifed Dog.

Your elf is too cute to ride a bear. That would break the cute meter.tmp7704 wrote...

and yeah, now i'm considering giving my elf second talent in hunter line just so she can ride a bear too

I made some of Alistair's armour match in colour, too, since I added the burnt-orange colour on the gown to go with my PC's hair. Think I posted a shot earlier, was the mild derp screen. It is a great dress!
This is amazing! Thank you tmp!tmp7704 wrote...

Sure they could be saved but lyrium is very expensive. Not to mention that Connor is just a child with virtually no instruction. If he is saved, he will be sent to the Circle, get training, and undertake his Harrowing (which he passes). If the possessed mages going through their Harrowing are saved, they've just proven they can't withstand a demonic possession so they would just be made Tranquil to ensure that it doesn't happen again. Why bother freeing them just to make them Tranquil when killing them would be easier, cheaper, and - to some - kinder?

And wasn't there the explanation somewhere about why Connor could be saved? Was it morrigan who explained? I cannot recall who did, but the explanation was given somewhere by someone. Lol, how is that for remembering accurately? It was what Aeowyn said, that Connor was an unwilling host, therefore it could be reversed.
Addai67 wrote...
Well, we don't really know that Connor was saved for good. Hints in the game are that he's going to have problems down the line, not with the same demon if you killed her but in general.

Its tintable with UDK, I just made my own tint for the UDK, so you, too, have a variety of colours it can be.

I'll get to it as soon as I figure out how the Online Tint Creator works... (yes, I'm just *that* dense -.-)
But your dress is inspiratio enough for me to try it out again
I don't recall that precise convo- I tend to avoid Wynne like poison ivy these days- but I would also say that her take on abominations is a mixed bag of Chantry indoctrination and guilt over her own "situation." So I'd have to take whatever she says with a grain of salt. As I tend to do anyway!Tigress M wrote...
I hadn't noticed those hints. That makes some sense then, too. But, it still doesn't explain the convo you have with Wynne about abominations since (iirc) she says the only way to "fix" the problem is to kill the mage, immediately after you point out Connor as another abomination you've faced outside of the circle.
