It's like the location either changed or was added after the initial VO recording was done.

There's something weird going on, yes.  Not just with Sten but also when you talk to Felsi (Oghren's dame) you ask her what a girl like her is doing in Lothering.  It would make more sense for Sten to have been arrested near Lothering, right?  So, my guess is that something got moved, either Lothering or the Lake Calenhad village.

I tend to just absent myself when this thread gets too chatty o/t or starts raining cats.  KoP knows I love him because I bash him over the head with useless argumentation.  That's my form of appreciation in his case.

Hmm..I never noticed it. I'm gonna have to check that out tonight. And as for SV and DA2, I, too, am hoping that he doesn't get cut. Mind you, I would still buy the game for the reason that I want to see how the story unfolds. But I would be greatly disappointed if Alistair's not in it.

Eeeee!!!  Now I can rave about this without worrying about leaking something important.  I'm a weepy sort, so take this with grains of salt, but even though the queen Cousland ending is not my fave, this scene made me cry every single time I watched it in the QA testing.  Every. Time.

I hadn't noticed that.  I'll have to listen for it next time.  Although that sounds kinda like a pickup line, were you playing a male Warden when you heard that?

Heh, no.  I think it's meant to be an easter egg for... what's that Humphrey Bogart movie.  Casablanca?  She does react as though it's a pickup line.

I agree!  I've tested this numerous times, and it still makes me weepy everytime I watch it.  It's so beautiful!   Lanfaer's and FFzero's dresses are all gorgeous!  Dahlia did an amazing job!  And the look on Alistair's face as he sees his bride walking up the aisle ...

No one is taking anything away from you...

Are we back to KoP's presence here?  I really don't think he's taking anything away from the Alistair thread.  If anything, he helps keep it alive.  Like others have said, it would be so boring here if all we did was post Alistair pics and gush over him.  The civil debates that we've been having here have made it interesting.  And except for a few times when things have gotten sidetracked into complete offtopicness, the discussions are usually about things related to Alistair.  And the Loghain subject is very much connected.
