Oh Alistair's would make up a good portion too. Of course, it probably depends on how close Fergus was.

I would say that it just depends on the player not so much on the origin. None of my wardens care about politics in the least, especially my HNF.

I've not yet played a HNF, but my Mage is human. I envision a HNM and a DNM that I will play in the future, either of which might turn out to be politically-minded but, being male, will view things (and Alistair) in a different light. So far, though, my Wardens couldn't care less about politics and those that have cared for Alistair couldn't bring themselves to harden him or force him to be king, or to make him marry Anora. Even my Mage, who liked Alistair okay but didn't particularly care for him, didn't harden him or force him to be king because (1) she's all about letting people be who they want to be and (2) she didn't think of him as king material. She did think that it made sense to discuss having Alistair marry Anora since that would have strengthened their position against Loghain, but since neither of them really wanted to (and Alistair REALLY didn't want to), she wasn't about to force them. So, Anora is Queen by herself again. I'm fine with that. But then again, I'm playing from the position of a person who cares nothing about politics and is only too happy to let someone else (who doesn't appear to be actually evil or insane) handle that end of things. I say goodbye to Landsmeet, Denerim and politics and trot happily off to camp to throw sticks for Dog, trade snarks with Shale and tease naughty stories out of Zevran.

Eyebrow of Doom time happened for my Mage last night. It was very strange. When he first flashed the eyebrow in the middle of a rant, I thought okay, that makes me feel a little uncomfortable. Then there's that one shot where the camera just hits him for a second and he doesn't say anything (I think Riordan is outlining his "alternative solution"), but all you see is BAM! Eyebrow of Extreme Prejudice. I did wince at that and thought to myself Oh, this is really, really going to be tough. And then there was no more eyebrow, just petulant child and puppy eyes. Still not fun, but really, Alistair? If you have such a weapon, why not continue to use it?

Actually the worst part of Landsmeet was just before. I, as the gamer, knew what was going to happen. Alistair and my Mage did not. So they had their little pleasant conversations, and talked about the future, and despite being tempted I did not take Duncan's shield or the Warden Commander armor set away from Alistair before we entered the Landsmeet chamber, and for me as the gamer it was a little bit like taking your pets to the kennel when you go on vacation or something. I'm the only one who knows that this is goodbye.

@ Dahlia, I have I did not own DA:O for PC; however all my whining to my hubby about the cool Mod and your wedding Mod. He caved and let me pre-order the DA:O Ulitmate for PC today at GameStop. So I now I can't wait till I get it next week and will make a whole Lady Cousland just for this.

Thank you; i don't have a save with setup for this ending to trigger, but this way can at least see what it's like

edit: ok, having seen it. whoa. Amazing how well it's put together, and how it manages to handle the whole crowd there. Definitely deserves some linke spam thrown at the devs so they can see it too
