She just had one. Pretty badass looking archer, eh? Sadly gone to the Maker's side, I'm sure.SurelyForth wrote...

How did that NPC get the Thane helmet?
It sure can't! And I am counting down the last minutes!sabreene wrote...
Drive by Alistair time, because the end of Friday can't come soon enough (or rather, the end of FriDAY and the beginning of Friday Night!)
Maybe they're going to release a life-sized inflatable version. :innocent:Yankee23 wrote...

I've got my head up the toolset.cmessaz wrote...
I think the Dwarf Noble scene will be done tomorrow. Then I can update IRS! Sorry it seems really quiet in here.
Awesome! Very addicting isn't it?errant_knight wrote...
Thank you! Learning a lot about the toolset. By the time I finish the illustrations, I should be ready for something larger.
Very! Even though it makes me plant my head in the keyboard, sometimes.cmessaz wrote...

Who says it would take away from the story if we kept the former protaganist?thenemesis77 wrote...
I really wonder why do you as others think, if you keep a certain character, that it somehow takes away from the story or get dull? It's all in how you put the story, why always a new character, it's the way games have gone for years, do people have no faith in their own product? Is it easy to just come up with all new and dash out the old?
Lots of sequels keep the same protaganist from one story to the next. It helps if there's a story for that protaganist to continue. In this case, the Warden's story is done. You were there to kill the Archdemon and you did. We could move onto another story with the Warden if we wished to, but we didn't. We chose to move onto a new protaganist (which some sequels do, if you weren't aware).
There's nothing wrong with the Warden, and I'm not sure why you think it upsets me to think that some people are attached to their character. I think that's great-- but that character's not going to fit into every tale, and it certainly isn't going to fit into the one we're creating now. If you wish to remain fixated on the Warden, that's your business. DAO is a great game, and quite frankly it does not need its protaganist to go onto other games to remain a great game.
But when anyone will bring up some real concerns, it's a all med day thing. Damn, should I take the red or blue med, damn the flux of my time.
As soon as you have some "real concerns", I'll gladly change my opinion. There are real concerns, however, and there there are imagined justifications for "I like my Warden"-- which in itself is fine, but how that translates into us depriving you of the Warden just to spite you (or, oddly, the Warden character) is beyond me. I'll politely suggest you think about it a little.

So enjoy your Warden still, while she/he last. Found in the DA2 thread. Not so new news and to be expected however but I thought of reposting it here nontheless, since some of us (including me) rarely glimpse in there. For good reasons, i might add.*hugs her Lenya protectively*David Gaider wrote...
