EDIT:  Got it working when I started outside the castle, wish they hadn't deleted this beforehand.  I"m going to keep it in, was a good job.

I just tried it. Very well done, all things considered. I liked the flashbacks in Alistair's mind and the modder did a pretty good job of selecting lines that could fit in the situation.

Now if only Bioware hadn't cut this scene from the game...

I have saves before Riordan in a couple of HNF chars, but it's not playing.  The screen just goes dark for a moment right as Alistair leaves the room. 

Hopefully there's a solution

You need to reload the entire Castle area. A savefile from before entering the castle will work.

Not comparing Aligirl to Morrigan, because it's unfair to compare any woman to Morrigan.

It's finding out about things like this that make me very happy I started playing again. I really wish that comic had been in the game.

Wow, that pre-DR scene is really powerful.  It has some rough spots, but that Morri stuff made me weepy, especially since I just wrote about that.    Edit:  I made a video here.






Man, why oh why oh why did they cut this scene out of the original game?  We could have done with one less battle sequence or ten to get something like this.  But thankfully they at least put it in the comic.
