I'm ok with Isabela's new look. I never took the appearance for the TRUTH.It's a game, naturally there are limitations due to the game engine. Alistair will look different, too. I'm curious how much he will be changed.

It seems the morphs or meshes or whatever the technical term is have been overhauled completely. They look more filled out and less "all the same except the face"  The hair has definitely improved! I can't wait to see Alistair in the new system.

Ya know, it's impossible to have smut in the deep roads. Maric got to camp while they were down there, why can't we have a deep roads camp in there to take a rest in?

I'm waiting til we get some in game shots of the characters, since trailer characters never look the same in game. *looks at Morrigan*

I'm a little concerned about what Alistair may look like...not a knock on the new graphics and such but I hope he's still recognizable as Alistair, even when not speaking. Image IPB

Well, the second trailer was a completely in-game one. Only reasons characters wouldn't look the same is if their face morphs get tweaked (like, it's been addressed that Isabela has a narrow mouth in the trailer because of some sort of glitch that has since been fixed and you can kinda see in some different shots).

Imagine how I feel about the prospect of an overhauled Morrigan.
All Morrigan mods are abominations, including Bioware made mods. :?

I don't know, I mean, danger and abandoned/haunted Dwarf empires and rampant slaughter and all that can be sexy up to a point, but as soon as I meet Hespith in the Dead Trenches, smut is about the last thing on my mind. "That is the most horrible thing I have ever seen or heard in my life" and "Get me the eff out of here --as soon as I put this big bloated bag of incubating Darkspawn out of her misery" kind of top the list.

Did you see Flemeth tho? She finally looks like someone that COULD lure men to her bed to create witches. Stunning comes to mind. But Noone has really confirmed we'll see her have they? I never mod Morrigan in my game, her morph is perfect as is. I think I have a morphed Alistair, but it only added extra stubble.

Flemeth is not a natural shapeshifter though and can manipulate her appearance according to her needs and that's fine, I don't mind the change Flemeth went through.

Gaider almost confirmed that Morrigan won't show up in DA2, since Claudia Black apparently isn't voicing anything. But she is a major character and there have been hints that future DA games will deal with her. And so I don't want a complete overhaul, I want Morrigan to be recognizably Morrigan. Sure a few subtle changes here and there, I might turn a blind eye to (or blind one of my eyes :P). But a complete change of her looks, with only the yellow eyes present to remind me that this is Morrigan? That would ****** me off.

But that's just me.

Sure it can, although 'sexy' isn't quite the right word.  Extreme danger and adrenalin spikes can get people to turn to each other to 'celebrate' they are still alive.  I'm not talking about slow, sexy seduction scenes, but acting with a primal urge.

Complete with biting and screaming, and all those other things that keep Wynne up at night.

KoP!  This is why I thought you were my age.  Your quoted statement is exactly how I feel now!  Danger, blood, dirt ... nothing sexy about that.  I like to be safe and in a romantic and pleasant environment now.  When I was in my 20's, I could have seen the appeal.  Things that would have gotten my adrenaline rushing might have been a big crazy, hot turn on.  :P

Thats ok Lady Jess, Alistair already has my Tabris (ninja kiss Swooped).

You can know somewhere that Alistair is happy with a Tabris.

Also the Zevran romance is really worth experiencing especially with how it can surprise you at the end.

It will be odd if they drastically change Alistair's looks. I can see him maturing, perhaps changing his hairstyle, etc, but I want to spot Alistair in a crowd and know its him (and feel my little heart go pitter-patter, even if LadyHawke is not enamored of him).

That's weird and wouldn't it be better if people "celebrate" after they are done with the dangerous life threatening situation?

If I was in the deep roads, I would be thinking of lost history, juicy archeological data, the tragedy of the Dwarves, and how to get out of there alive. Sex would really be the last thing in my mind.

...or maybe I am the weird one, I don't know.

I'm 36, and no the blood and dirt part doesn't sound sexy, but I definitely see the sexiness in the image of Morrigan unfurling her power on a hoard of darkspawn or Alistair plowing through a crowd with his sheild. Image IPB

This. I understand there will probably be some changes but he should still be Alistair.

Hahaha. . .really, KoP? Why do you think sex and horror movies always seem to go together? Violence and orgies in ancient Rome? Those prisoner/fugitive/survivor movies where two people who might otherwise have nothing to do with each other get thrown into a dangerous situation together, and find themselves in a sweaty tangle in a seedy hotel room, or a cave, or under a bridge or something? All those teenagers that go up to the haunted house to fool around and possibly get slaughtered --yes, it's a plot device and we all say we would never be that stupid, but there's a reason why someone thought of that plot device in the first place and a reason why the public continues to respond to and support those kinds of stories. Men and women. I'm not saying it's the only way to be sexy, but the fact that violence and danger has sex appeal for at least some people can't be denied.

Then again, everyone has their own personal bucket of ice water, and mine is Hespith. After meeting her, no way anyone touches my Warden until we get back to camp, or preferably somewhere she can have a bath.

I am an atypical 21 year old I guess.

I really don't see how that's a turn on. I mean, it's digusting, full of spiders and carcasses. And it's a sad place, reminding usof the near annihilation of the Dwarves. What's so inviting aobut that??

Well, there is a difference. Isabela is a character they probably feel comfortable completely overhauling because we only saw her for a very, very short time out of a very long game. So if they want to take very minor NPC A and give her a makeover when she's set to be a companion who should have a more recognizable look, then that's one thing. I highly doubt Morrigan would look much different if she showed up in the game (and Alistair for that matter) because they were NPCs we spent an entire game looking at. More care went into their initial designs than for random NPCs, meaning they probably got them to look like they wanted in the first place. So I imagine it'd be more like, if I were an artist and drew a picture of another artist's character in my own style as opposed to something unrecognizable. Then again, they might do whatever the heck they want xD

It is also very scary, and would have me thinking we might not get out alive, it could our own annihilation too and if that could happen I'm going to get as much time with my love as possible just in case.^_^
