But then there's the lovely sound effect. . .

:)
KER SPLOOSH!

Haha. . .Yeah, it's more the [sound of lifeless body in a sack sliding down a well]. . .ker SPLOOSH that gets me. Very Sweeney Todd, that sliding noise. And still, no one notices. Then again, considering how the Warden's party can conceal several heavy pieces of extra armor around its various persons, not to mention weapons, potions, traps, Corpse Galls, cash and dog biscuits, all without causing a stir or even a bulge in their pockets, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

That would be a reason for me to keep Sten alive I guess...he can pull the Uhaul we store all that inImage IPB

ToP hmm let's see...okay here's my latest version of Alistair.

Granted, PC reaction shouldn't be programmed too much but considering they added all sad faced crap on the Cailan body disposal scene, when my PC only spoke to him like a total of 5 minutes...Yet I can't muster a tear for someone who was at the very least a neighbor, probably a childhood playmate?

Oh, I 100% concur here. It annoyed me. Why should my character be forced to be sad for Cailan? Are the flashbacks supposed to make me feel sad? Come on, Duncan should have had that flashback.

Duncan's BEARD was more awesome than Cailan, I felt for the loss of that much awesome.

Warden: Ahh!
Alistair: WHAT!
Warden: Its like a millions strands of awesome screamed out in horror than, silence.

The Beard is never silenced.
It merely thought it could make things more fun for us if it just went away for a while.

I think one piece of hair from The Beard must have landed on Hawke's face (or somewhere else if female Hawke...hehe), for he/she to become the most important person in Thedas.

Totally agreed there. It was one of the things that was less than stellar about RTO. Duncan I think was far more central to the character than a doofus king who spoke to you for like, oh, a couple of minutes?

That an the "royal blood, deserves a pyre" crap. What the hell does his being royal have to do with him deserving a pyre? In the playthroughs where I do choose that ropute, it has nothing to do with that, more to do with it simply being a Ferelden custom in disposing of the dead, no matter what their rank.

Getting Duncan's sword and dagger, to me, was a far more emotional incentive than collecting Cailain's cheesy, gaudy armor. Yet not a single word about it, especially from Alistair, who, had he been written in character, would have been slobber with joy at the discovery, while Cailan, a half brother he barely knew and was somewhat  apathetic towards in most of the game, gets mentioned with great sadness. Yet in the beginning, if you talk to Alistair about it, he seems to subtly imply that Cailan really isn't the reason there's any hope for success, Loghain is.

There were a number of thing OOC or simply nonsensical about RTO that made it less than it could have been, but the discovery of Cailan's letters really are what made the DLC worthwhile.

If this were my world, every man would have to be (relatively) clean shaven, and their chest hair waxed, as well. :P

I love how everyone is so expressionless in that shot, even if you're dumping dead bodies right next to the Chantry...

I personally imagine the expressions they would have. If you have imagination, this gives you a lot of freedom in imagining your character and their mannerisms.

Though of course if taken "literraly", it looks weird.

Oh, of course I can imagine things but the image itself still remains odd and a bit creepy.

As someone mentioned earlier, I understand why facial expressions for the PC aren't added in most cases as you can't really predict how the player feels. Well, except for the stupidity of adding a sad face when meeting Cailan's corpse. I think it was Skadi who mentioned that on some of her characters she RPs that they make a sad face because they think to themselves, "what a waste of armor" or something like that. The next time I'm there I'll RP that my character is making a sad face because of the stench or something... =]

But for the companions they could've done something.

The first time I hit RtO I had Natural Bodies running.

My face was not so much sad as:

It was apparent that Cailan was not the one with the performance problems......

The skanky one? :kissing:

I made it in response to some moronic topic in the DA2 forums about how all the female LIs in Bioware game were skanks. The topic actually derailed into a moral debate, so I decided to add that banner for the lulz and to annoy everyone in there. =]

Oh nooooo!  I'm glad you aren't in charge of the look of things in my world.  I used to date a guy who waxed his chest, and the stubble was icky.  A dark-haired man should not have chest stubble!  I don't like overly hairy.  I prefer no hair on the back.  My preference is a chest like Strom's.

Lol, no sorry needed and I do yell back  :)

Someone post some screens please, I've been through my whole repertoire already, some of them twice.
Thank you  :)

@tuppence, I'd take Strom, just as he is, too
