I like the Black Armor for the lands meet - it looks menacing

Meh, Top.  Recycle because I think everyone looks hot:

I haven't heard anyone saying they've played it.  I think it was only just released today.  I started a new game, and I'm still in Lothering, so it'll be a little while before I'm ready to try it.  It looks good though!  Looking forward to it.

Oh damn, I'm not even out of Lothering in my current game and Alistair's approval is already at -30 (hostile)!!

It really is fun to see his reactions to some of the more wacky things a Warden can do in the game.

What are you doing to the poor guy, Zjarcal?

I have to be careful.  If I think about it too much, Alistair starts to remind me of my little dog when he was a very insecure puppy.  I can't pursue that line of thought or I'll never be able to romance him again.

Speaking of cute puppies ...

Ooh, this is fun! Approval Math.

Let me see if I can guess what happened. . .

1) You shanked the prisoner in camp (okay, I already knew about this one)

2) You killed the wounded soldier in the Wilds (ditto)

3) You were nice to Morrigan after the battle and told Alistair to get over himself

4) You were sarcastic and/or mean when he started crying about Duncan

5) You threatened the Lothering Chantry mother to get Sten's key

6) Umm. . .you. . .struck a deal with the Lothering merchant and drove away the people who were cramping his style? You refused to help the little redheaded boy?

Dunno. . .I wouldn't be surprised if all that put you under -30, to be honest. . .

SOOOO CUTE!!! The puppy, not Alistair. ^_^

The thing about my CE is that she despises human males (she sees Vaughn and his guards in every human man) to an almost irrational point (she is a bit crazy). So not only has she been rude to Alistair (for no good reason), she killed the prisoner in Ostagar,  the wounded soldier in the Korcari Wilds, and the merchant in Lothering. Basically, any chance she has to kill a human male, she'll take it.

Oh, and she also threatened the revered mother! That was so much fun!

I am wondering how I'll handle Redcliffe. On the one hand, abandoning it would be the most in character decision, but then I'll miss the chance to gut Lloyd!

Bingo on all of them!! Except she also killed the Lothering merchant after striking the deal. And yes, the redhead boy was told to "beat it", although that doesn't drop his approval.

EDIT: She wasn't actually talked about Duncan yet. I mean the actual conversation about "do you want to talk about Duncan".

I did . Limited supplies won't increase just because it's cheaper. It will just cause more riot amongst the refugees, and the outcome would most likely end up in someone getting killed because people are desperate.

Hmm, let's see...

HN helped the priest and convinced him to sell his stuff at fair prices. Same for my mage. My Dalish didn't get involved at all, "solve this yourselves". And as mentioned, my CE sides with him only to kill him a few seconds later.

So I'm yet to genuinely side with him. Although when I think about it, my mage really should've sided with him since she hates the Chantry (though she still romances Leli...:P). I should correct that if I ever replay her.

Depends on the character I'm playing.  Some do, some don't.  I think more of them side with him, partially because I have more characters who have problems with the chantry.

Did you kill the sick Mabari in Ostagar?

I saw that on a YouTube video that compiled all the evil things you can do. Some of them actually made me cringe. Image IPB

From what I'm reading here it's not looking too good for the Mages in the Chantry, Andraste's Ashes, Caiden, and the Dalish, is it?

I've played badass characters before, and I've done all those things in that list.  But I just cannot bring myself to kill Dog.  Even my totally evil character didn't kill him.  That's kinda funny that I don't have any problems killing people in the game, even Connor.  I've berated Alistair.  I've threatened the chantry.  But no way am I killing a pooch.

NOOOOOOO!! She hates humans (males) but not animals! Doggie (Scree) is right beside her.

She's not a "monster evil warden", she just has issues, with human males in particular (for obvious reasons).

She won't defile the Urn because she will Kolgrim right from the start (Crazy human man? DIE!!).

How she deals with the Dalish will depend on how they treat her. If they go, "Flat ear scum!", there's a chance they'll die (but I'm not sure about that).

The mages will be a tossup. I think she'll save them if only because Cullen and Gregoir will mostly likely annoy her to high heaven.

And uhhh.... Caiden? Did you mean Caridin? Hmm, I'm not sure about that one. I doubt she'd want to side with Branka.

Same here. Animal loving is the one constant in all my characters, no matter how troubled they may be.

Killing people? Pfff. Killing animals? NOOOOOO!!

I actually deliberately try to avoid killing wolves and bears whenever possible.

What about the Halla in the Dalish camp? I can't bring myself to kill it either, especially if my PC doesn't know what's wrong with it.

How do you avoid killing wolves and bears? Don't they automatically come after you? If they didn't charge me, I wouldn't kill them either.

I still haven't sided against the Mages, either, though I think my HNM will probably do that. I see him as being a S&S Warrior to rival Alistair, who will spec the Templar, side with the Templars in the Circle quest, spare Loghain, execute Alistair, let Loghain sacrifice himself and marry Anora.

I don't kill the Halla either. That's why I always put points in Survival, so my PC can figure out what's wrong with her.

I did side with the Templars once, with my Dalish. She was too freaked out about abominations after dealing with Connor, so she was all "kill them with fire!". It was tough watching Irving turn into an abomination though... :(
