Alistair fans, i face you with a difficult question.

Is Alistair really a virgin?

He wouldn't be the first guy to lie about being a virgin to get in a girls pants. He impressed Isabela, he was pretty much a chick magnet, both Leliana and Morrigan were secretly eyeballing him, and he knew what to say to a fem Warden.

If he really is a virgin then its proof heros always get the girls.

I'd say he is.

Being a virgin is not something that males tend to boast about, neither does Alistair he justs flags it up when he gets close to the warden because, I think, he doesn't want to disappoint her.

All the stuff you mention happens after he leaves the Templars until then it is not hard to imagine that he led a pretty sheltered and unhappy life in an mostly male environment.

In any event Morrie loathes him and he loathes her in return, they have major philosophical differences.

Leli and Isabela both know a handsome man when they see one.

BTW Ali is not a hero, just a very confused young man trying to do the right thing in difficult circumstances.

just saying Alistair is a pimp, if he wasnt a templar he would prolly be like Henry the VIII minus killing his wives.  I bet a hardened Alistair without the fem warden woulld have more mistresses then his father.  lol

Pimp? Would not the more precise term be "babe magnet"?

It's not at all clear that Maric had many mistresses.

But I won't disagree with your  last point.  You know what they say about Chantry boys and late starters...

Hey if he played his cards right we could of had pirate Alistair in DA2............

wait a second it is possible Drunk Alistair could of joined Isabela's crew, depends when Isabela left Denerim.

I still don't buy the whole Fiona =/= Alistair's mother. The timing just doesn't work considering how close he is age wise to Cailen.

As for Morrigan/DR/Romance her objective does change around the time of getting Flemeth's true grimoire from staying with the Warden just for the sake of Old God Baby to wanting to not see them die during the ritual itself.

This thought occurred to me too, actually. It seems that Isabela is making a habit of transporting refugees etc to the Free Marches and the "Siren's Call" may have been in Denerim at the time of the Landsmeet.

No, but it never hurts to find out what works with large numbers of women.  *finds enough self-discipline to refrain from making button comments.*  :P

Well if Morrigan is the ideal type for me, being like Alistair is precisely what I should not do :P

Ha!  Fate can surprise you.  The man that I ended up falling in love with and marrying was so not the type that I always thought was mine.  I always used to have such a weakness dark-haired, brooding, angst-filled, artsy types.  And I ended up falling for a blonde, athletic, goofy guy with a few self-confidence problems.

Uh... Did his name begin with A?

Nah, the above qualities is where the similarity ends.  If my husband saw an ogre, he'd probably run away screaming.  But then, I'd be right there running with him.  :P

Well, she asks the Warden if she can "borrow" Alistair for a week but I don't think it's precisely for crewing her ship... Minx

My name starts with an A and I guess that's as far as the similarity goes

Actually, I like it.  INFINITELY better than mine.  I'm named after my old man (whom I did not get along with at all).

Ayman (Arabic: َأيْمَن‎) (also spelled Aiman, Aymen, Aimen, I-man or Eye-man)[citation needed](pronounced Eye-mun) is a male name of Arabic origin. It is derived from the Arabic Semitic root for right, literally meaning he who is on the right hand side; in Latin, the corresponding name is Dexter.

Yeah, my RL name is Nicole btw, nice to meet ya all lol.

And Bruddajakka, Alistair is actually 20/21 yrs at the beginning of origins, as Gaider once has stated. The toolset ages are false and still from the time before Alistair was redesigned.

I like that one too.  Thats my oldest's middle name Image IPB

So much better than Earlene Image IPB I can never find any personalized stuff and no one ever spells it right because its got like 7 different ways to spell it (and I don't want to say how many times I have had to correct people and say its not "Arlene") and I have only personally met two women in nearly 50 years who share my name.

I was named Christina, but my parents always called me Chris.  My older brother was pretty obnoxious when we were kids, and he kept telling me Chris was a guy's name.  So now my friends call me Tina.

I'm guessing Alistair is maybe about 10+ years younger than Cailan.  Cailan was in his 30's, wasn't he?

I can never find things with my name either. And I was named after my mom's godfather. His name was Lou, but she didn't want to name me Louise. So I got LuAnn. Which got me in trouble at school, because my teachers insisted there could NOT be a capital letter in the middle of my first name, so Ann must be my middle name (which it is NOT, that is Renee). One made me show my birth certificate to prove it. <_<
