He's in Shadow Warden Armor.Giggles_Manically wrote...
Addai is Alistair in Shade Leather Armour, or Shadow Warden armour?
I mainly keep him as a tank, but may try to turn him into a dual wielder.
I don't do tanks. I will give him Taunt just so he can pull threat if our mage is getting hassle, but otherwise my philosophy is to kill and kill some more.

I don't understand this... because he mourns Duncan and the rest of his order being slaughtered, along with the king (his brother) and the king's armies?? Is he just supposed to walk away from that whistling a happy tune? He fights, he tries to get the Warden off his/her dime at Flemeth's hut if you are reluctant, and he never lacks for bravery. Where does he ever show fear for his own life? *puzzled*Axekix wrote...
So I finally read An Unkind Fate and wow, that was some pretty heavy stuff. It kind of makes me want to play DA again because my impression of Alistair is so radically different from the way LadyD writes him. I can't help but wonder if there's a side of him I've missed somehow.
I wouldn't have expected him to be so strong and mature about the situation tbh, given the way I remember him reacting to adversity in DAO.

You mean where if I were to continue the story and have Lya slay the archdemon? I don't know if it would be "amaaaaazingly powerful." In my head, it would just be very, very, very sad. It would be a relief, I'd think.
With Alistair dead and Loghain not going through the joining, the DR can't happen. So US is the only option!
Unless Riordan doesn't attempt to fly and makes it to the end battle. I think it would hinge on whether or not Loghain believes Riordan about a Grey Warden being necessary. If he doesn't, Ferelden is really screwed. Mmmm, irony. Delicious.

I wasn't talking about bravery or fear. I was talking more so about the fact that throughout the game, Alistair uses the Warden as his pillar to lean on. LadyD's story reverses the roles a bit, but it works well imo.Addai67 wrote...

When I played my elf mage, who was going to romance Zevran, I got to the encounter and instead of hitting :
1. Wake him up, i hit:
2. KILL HIM.
It could have been the Dr. Pepper I was drinking distracted me and made my fingers slip OR it could have been the spirit of Maric coming out to alter fate....
YOU BE THE JUDGE.
Also I am a sucker for the Templar/ Mage angle, outside of Cullen of course.

Oh?
Then I think this is the perfect time for me to tell you that I've been stalking you for quite some time
On a serious note, I think Cullen is a really tragic guy. Creepy in a way, but mostly tragic. So I like him, as a character.

I think she is referring to Alistair dissaproving regardless of your choice in the Connor issue (except for getting the mages).

Yes,My female mage character was quite sad about Ali's reaction. She did not want to go back to the stupid Circle again though >.> And I ALWAYS pick the third option so I wanted to do something different.
...How is it not clear that that's what Im talking about? x3

Which is sort of idiotic on his behalf, because as I recall, he suggests one of the options. Unless the writers forgot that, or it's part of his personality to throw blame at others for something he would have done anyways.
Yes, thank you. Finally someone understands how I feel about Alistair's reaction.
I'm somehow inclined to believe that it is indeed a mistake on behalf of the writers. If his comment about suggesting to kill Connor had been removed then I wouldn't have been so annoyed by his reaction.

Cullen was fun to mess with as a mage, and he does end up to be a tragically damaged character. Some time back someone was creating some kind of romance mod for cullen but I don't know if that ever came to fruition.
