That's one thing my Wardens all share to some extent:
They dont outright flirt with people once they get into a relationship.
Morrigan going after Sten when i was right there annoyed me a lot.
You know, it's funny you should mention this. I think that's why I have such a hard time romancing Zev; the party banter, even if in a romance just makes my Warden's jealous.
As for my PC's flirting... most of them don't, but a few of them do (like my current HN playthrough... she'll flirt with just about anything in pants IF he's cute).
I think that he finds it very funny to do that, and it serves as a way to put them of their game.
Some of his banters do reflect his care for the warden though.

The thing I don't like about the Zev romance is that, even if he changes his ways in the end, the whole time you are being romanced, all you hear about are the people he slept with, then killed. That's why he makes a good BFF - it's entertaining to hear about others debauchery. But as a romance, it's just like - "ick, take back your dead lover's earing, please".

I do think they become friends. At first it strikes me as a bit of alpha male wang-measuring going on. Alistair is definitely jealous (he asks if women go for that kind of man), then he prods Zevran with a bit of high-horse snobbery and Zev hits back in his own disarming way, and eventually they get to the guy talk. Some of which was so laddish that it got taken out of the game!Maria13 wrote...
I think Zev in his banters even shows a considerable amount of affection for Alistair... Even if it is tempered with, "Wake up and smell the coffee, dude!"

After the earring (at least if taken as a proposal) you shouldn't be hearing it unless you didn't talk to him about all of that stuff before then. Which I always have. Before dealing with Taliesen he doesn't consider himself much "in a relationship". He is trying VERY hard to be casual and not be falling in love. And honestly you only hear about the mage, and eventually Rinna. Zevran is very much behind a mask most of the game, for his own self preservation. Unlike Alistair who wears his heart right on the sleeve of his splintmail from the moment you meet him.
Edited to add: even if it's hard to hear, I find the fact that he'll be boldly honest with you a great trait.
Edited again: The Rinna conversation only triggers at certain approval. And it is VERY hard for him to talk about, he is definitely not bragging here. He is baring his biggest regret, and his soul to someone he now trusts with it.
I figure she's about 14 or 15 years old, not a woman at all, and that she's been told to stay in the Chantry, most likely by Teagan, who I expect she has a massive crush on, teenage girls being what they are. She's hanging around by the door, upset, because she wants to go look for Bevin, but also doesn't want to disobey, especially if it was the arl's brother who told her to stay. Tough situation for a kid, especially one who isn't rebellious by nature.Tigress M wrote...

Aww, what's all the Kaitlyn hate? Because she can end up with Teagan? She's sweet, and she's a female blacksmith! Or she becomes one, anyway, if you give her money. Plus Bevin is a sweetheart. Can you imagine Teagan raising him? He'd be the coolest kid in Ferelden even without the sword. And what a heartbreaker.Tigress M wrote...
Well, I know I'm never going to give Kaitlyn money again! Teagan deserves better! I'll have to try for the Bella option. If my Warden can't marry Teagan, she's a better substitute than Kaitlyn, by far.
As for the prompts thing, I think it's a great idea! I'd be willing to help come up with ideas for them, if needed.
Bevin for DA3 follower!
LOL! I hate Bevin, but then, I think I hate all the kids in DA... think it's the voices. As for Kaitlyn, I just don't like whimpery women -- if my brother was lost, I wouldn't be pouting in a church... I'd be out looking for him.

Trust me the ending is so worth it, and Zevran has some lines that are simply amazing at the end:Tigress M wrote...

You may be right. Maybe when I get around to playing another CE, I'll try romancing Zev again and see if I like it any better than my first two attempts.

@ Lady Jess: So there's only a 12 year difference? I was thinking Teagan was older than that...I guess that makes me a huge hypocrite.

Oh yeah, Zevran breakups are... ugh. I mean, Alistair puppy eyes are bad, but somehow it feels worse with Zevran. I think because he's someone who was used and used sex so much, so that when he finally realizes that he has a shot at real love, to have that taken away... UGH. Let's not even go to what happens if his Warden lover dies.inclemency wrote...
I did the Zev romance all the way through for the first time in the game I just finished. I really liked it, and was surprised at how heartfelt it was. I had to do the 'breakup' just as a test at one point, and it was pretty heartbreaking, I think even more so than with Alistair. I will be doing that romance again.
