Also, not to interrupt the discussion, but I just want to know if we are all in agreement in doing the Alistair weekly challenge.  I know we haven't heard from the other regulars here but I just want to have an idea that we are indeed doing this.  So far we have 6 volunteers to be the official prompt setters (will that be enough?) and will still take in more if anyone is interested.  Like I said in my other post, just PM me if you want to sign up.   No further action has been made thus far (except for Klarabella's beautifully made logo) and I just want to handle this in the most diplomatic fashion.  So what say ye people?

I did the Zev romance all the way through for the first time in the game I just finished. I really liked
it, and was surprised at how heartfelt it was. I had to do the 'breakup' just as a test at one point, and it was pretty heartbreaking, I think even more so than with Alistair. I will be doing that romance again.

I was disappointed the first time I romanced Alistair because it was such a trainwreck. Great romance, but next to impossible to hold on to. And then I had the same wtf reaction after I romanced Zevran. He was the opposite of Alistair -- loyal and devoted, but couldn't even say that he loved the warden. (I get why he doesn't though. Still.) I came to the conclusion that the writing just sucked. And after seeing DG's posts on the forums, it's obvious he's secretly a sadist despite his denials. I'm highly skeptical of DA2 romances, lol. YOU KNOW there's a "gotcha" coming in the romances one way or another. =p

(For the record, I have romanced Alistair and Zevran at least four times each, Morrigan once, and didn't finish Leliana's due to burn out. I remain convinced DG is a sadist.)

Zev otoh...I never could get past the initial smarminess. And after getting ninja'd by Leli a couple of times...no thanks.

Oh, I know its a bug and which options not to take with her now. But she's kinda...gluey.

My AW apostate mage, adopted by the Couslands and newly orphaned, does not know what to make of this ex-templar who has become her partner.  He's not at all like the controlling templars her parents had told her about.
