I mentioned yesterday my prompt has been a plot bunny for a while. It finally got loud enough that I fleshed it out more.

As it is, with my opinion of Isabela influencing my imagination, I see Alistair being/allowing himself to be used (physically) in order to get away. Imo, that would cause him to lose more self respect and would contribute to his downward spiral.

Oh, okay. No that's not really what I meant. Think of it more like what happens at the Pearl with Isabela as the instigator. Combine his state of mind and the desire to be away with her suggestive flirting and I think he would find himself with another situation that would eat at him later.  No, I do not think Isabela forces sex on people but I can see suggestive banter with Anders as part of the agreement to let him take passage on the ship, and if the same were to happen with Alistair I think his mental state may make him agree although it's not something he would want.

Oh, okay. No that's not really what I meant. Think of it more like what happens at the Pearl with Isabela as the instigator. I was being part humourous when I suggested that Alistair would prostitute himself to get passage... I'm actually in agreement with Yankee above, Isabela clearly likes Alistair, Alistair does not wholly dislike her... If he were pissed off with the female warden for betraying him, you could possibly see something happening between them while he was on the rebound... which he might later regret... or not (I mean he could take the view, probably justifiably, that the warden had betrayed him first, so what the hell...).

Heh, thanks. Have to thank Darkspawn chronicles for these plot nug, and the thought of the 'real' Alistair going WTF at the events there was just too delicious for me to let it pass.

Thanks! Zev is her BFF, and really so is (was) morrigan. She doesn't get along with Wynne or Leliana, Sten scares the crap out of her.

O.o because he took passage on Isabela's ship? Harsh! Besides you only get that slide under certain circumstances. I haven't gotten it yet. He always comes back to the wardens. I love Isabela, independant, strong, kicks ass, I am who I am eff em all if they don't like it...love that.  I still won't let her borrow Alistair but I like her.

I think you get the Anders-Isabela slide if he doesn't have enough approval because his no-quest one just leads to him getting captured quite a bit after leaving the order.

No, because l love to hate him. But it would be in character for Breanna, she's a typical pro-chantry Fereldan, an arrogant noble and a bit racist.

I love Isabela, too. I even went for the threesome option. And I would totally romance her in DA2, unless she really has a past with Anders, then I wouldn't touch her with a ten foot pole.

@Sarah So I can use him through Awakening and have him leave to be captured by the templars? Sounds good to me.

I don't see her as being quite so forward with Alistair (if he leaves with her at the drunken end) as with Anders -- she might scare him off, and I don't think she'd intentionally do something to drag a man down. That is, not unless they were an enemy!! But then, I love her!

The wiki says:

If Anders' companion quest is not complete, he will be captured again when he resigns from the Wardens. With his phylactery secure, he is unable to evade the templars. After two subsequent escape attempts, he vanishes for a third and final time.

Whether that means he finally gets away or the templars are fed up and outright kill him is up for debate.
