That's a really interesting question about Isabella, but since she's a party member in DA2, it might depend on whether she joins your party before or after Hawke sees drunk Alistair. If she's a party member before that cameo, then it's unlikely she's the one that gave him a ride. If you pick her up after the events of Landsmeet, then it's very plausible that she not only gave him a ride, she could even be the one leaning over to Hawke saying, "Poor guy. He's had a rough go of it." Verrrry interesting. The possibilities!
Sigh...I don't think I'm going to make it to March without losing my mind from curiosity. I'm working on an unhardened drunk Alistair ending after I finish my Brosca (we're at the start of the landsmeet yay!). I just wish we knew for sure there was more than one cameo. Though it sounded like there would be.

My Anders stays with the Wardens, always! No sailing away for him!! But, earlier in his escape attempts he was almost swayed by a certain seductive pirate, so he does have a past with her. (their interaction).
I don't see her as being quite so forward with Alistair (if he leaves with her at the drunken end) as with Anders -- she might scare him off, and I don't think she'd intentionally do something to drag a man down. That is, not unless they were an enemy!! But then, I love her!
@everyone -- thank you so much for all the comments on the story!! Am going to try and review today!!
so anders has a past with isabela
wow, isabela has slept with every man in thedas. lol
Don't forget the women either, Isabella does not discriminate...

Oh I agree with you, think Isabella is fairly versatile and will handle each guy (or lady) according to their quirks.... Yeah, I like her too...

I would not put any hopes into whatever they say may be a cameo or not. Drunk Alistair could just be a Varric voiceover and we see a scene go by illustrating this, but Hawke probably won't get to talk to him or anything, y'know? Do not forget how our LIs were reduced to mere codex enteries in Awakening. =p

But... but... SV tweeted that he had done voice work. The Voice of Alistair HAS to be in it!Gilsa wrote...

Has there really been official word on a drunk Alistair cameo in DA2? (I've purposely been avoiding the DA2 forum and news because I want to be surprised come March, but this I gotta know so I know if I have to break my heart again with another drunken Alistair ending).
I'd say a Steve Valentine tweet confirming he did the voice is pretty official, so yep.

Anora bringing out the beast in all of us.
"Hmmm...knocked unconscious, waking up in a cell. I think I've had this dream before"

"I am going to STRANGLE Anora..."

Meanwhile back at the Estate...Zev stands right there and threatens to kill the queen to her face.

I replayed it 5 times just to hear Zev's line. OMGHOT

This is the best I can do for you:
[Snipped from Bitmob.com article.]
Also, it sounded as though Alistair will make an appearance. Spoiler: Gaider mentions he may be a king or he may be a drunk depending on player actions in Origins. Keep in mind however, that was given as an example of what could happen in the sequel from past decisions.
[/end snip]
Combine that with SV's tweets about voicing Alistair in DA2 and draw your own conclusions. =p

Thanks! That's very encouraging. Guess I'll be doing another drunken Alistair playthrough after all.
I also liked hearing the reason behind the skimpy dialog in Awakening. Budget issues makes sense... doesn't make me like the outcome any more but at least there's a reason besides poor/rushed writing.

I think his cameo will be bigger than his Awakenings cameo.
