That's a really interesting question about Isabella, but since she's a party member in DA2, it might depend on whether she joins your party before or after Hawke sees drunk Alistair. If she's a party member before that cameo, then it's unlikely she's the one that gave him a ride. If you pick her up after the events of Landsmeet, then it's very plausible that she not only gave him a ride, she could even be the one leaning over to Hawke saying, "Poor guy. He's had a rough go of it." Verrrry interesting. The possibilities!

Sigh...I don't think I'm going to make it to March without losing my mind from curiosity. I'm working on an unhardened drunk Alistair ending after I finish my Brosca (we're at the start of the landsmeet yay!). I just wish we knew for sure there was more than one cameo. Though it sounded like there would be.

I don't see her as being quite so forward with Alistair (if he leaves with her at the drunken end) as with Anders -- she might scare him off, and I don't think she'd intentionally do something to drag a man down. That is, not unless they were an enemy!! But then, I love her!

Oh I agree with you, think Isabella is fairly versatile  and will handle each guy (or lady) according to their quirks....  Yeah, I like her too...

I would not put any hopes into whatever they say may be a cameo or not. Drunk Alistair could just be a Varric voiceover and we see a scene go by illustrating this, but Hawke probably won't get to talk to him or anything, y'know? Do not forget how our LIs were reduced to mere codex enteries in Awakening. =p

I'd say a Steve Valentine tweet confirming he did the voice is pretty official, so yep.

So. Much. Awesome. I cannot contain the squee here. Brosca just ratted out Anora during REscue the Queen. Zev is her LI. Now, I had heard his friend version but I'm pretty sure it wasn't the same. Could be wrong. But he was at love, had proposed to Tryna before this.

@Jess, yes I love Zev's line there. He says it for any Warden I believe, but sometimes he is overridden, for instance by Alistair or... I think Morrigan will as well.

Now I'm curious if there's been any word about Zevran or Leliana in DA2. Wouldn't really be fair if they didn't show up, but this is pretty much why I've preferred the Alistair romance (regardless of the outcome) because his character is so central to DA:O's story. Kinda why I prefer Kaidan in ME, even though there are more romance options in ME2 -- Kaidan was simply there from the start and was a part of the action all along. That's why I have a hard time getting excited about DA2 -- there's no connection from DAO (other than cameos) to help me make the jump. (Well, there's Flemeth and Morrigan. Pardon me while I jump for joy.)

I knew that much, as I saw that twitter myself.  I was curious where the rumor about a drunk cameo came from.

Thanks!  That's very encouraging.  Guess I'll be doing another drunken Alistair playthrough after all.  

I also liked hearing the reason behind the skimpy dialog in Awakening.  Budget issues makes sense... doesn't make me like the outcome any more but at least there's a reason besides poor/rushed writing.

It will be interesting to see if they have Alistair taking sides in the templar- mage conflict.

I think his cameo will be bigger than his Awakenings cameo.
