The pictures have been fun to see over the past while on nexus, but not interested to play it. I'm 'fixin' to play Dark Times again, fixpack 1.06 just came out. Lol, I just love DT, although my current elf is mad as heck she can't wear 'The Hat'.

I love your Bob song!  And yes, it was definitely tales of Bob that inspired me to put aside my adopted Cousland mage playthrough and start up a DC.

I noticed something about this playthrough.  Yes, Min Brosca is casteless and her life pretty much sucks.  But she has learned to roll with the punches.  She was pretty happy when Duncan recruited her.  And she's having a blast up on the surface.  She is starting this game without the sense of devastating loss that the rest of my wardens have felt coming out of their origin stories.

*edited to add - the above sentence isn't completely right.  I just realized my Circle mage was also pretty happy to be recruited and didn't suffer a huge loss.

One of the fun parts of winning the Landsmeet is the support you get from the banns in the room. I like to trigger Loghain to attack when he loses cause 1) nothing beats beating the stuffing out of him not just once but twice and 2) you can get some really priceless pics like this one. Bamf Alfstanna kicking ass for RDT. (the PC behind her is my 'canon' Neria).

Its all based around the Jayne Cobb song from Firefly.

Duncan is simply awesome in the DC origin, I think out of the origins the DC one impresses Duncan the most.
Especially when talking to the proving master.

When you get back to Orzamar, I found the DC origin to be much more powerful than the DN one. You run into old friends, family, and see how much you changed when you find your home again.

Its just made of win, plus getting insulted is funny, with all the Dwarves really.

yea i am knocking around in my head the idea of a fanfic about her and her brother, Ser Irminric. I think brother/sister banter between the two would be cute esp. after the utter bad that happens to him in Howe's dungeons.

Best part is you can do that AND they still call for the duel.  I love the utter pandemonium, leaving Loghain to stand as long as I can killing his soldiers and those mages first.  It's not a terribly tough battle (Cauthrian was a lot harder by comparison) and it makes for an exciting and VERY fun Landsmeet.  Plus you can insult his honor when they call for the duel (turn it down at first, Eamon will try to reason with you and then you can question if "He will abide by the rules of a duel" or something like that).
Kate found him completely SO not like his legends.  I guess someone should have told Loghain to follow his own advice and "attend to reality" instead of banking on his hero status to pull his ass out of this fire.

I'm really looking forward to returning to Orzammar.  I think that'll be our first stop after Lothering.  For some reason (probably something to do with Bob), I have a much lighter-hearted attitude with this character.  She's having such a good time, and so am I!

I've never done enough stealing in Ostagar before to trigger that "We need to talk" conversation with Duncan.  I loved it, and it's given me a whole new appreciation of him that will soon be making me very sad.   I don't think she'll romance Alistair, but who knows.  I'm not sure he'll be able to put up with her troublemaking.

Alfstanna!    Yes, I also have a slight case of girl crush on her.  I wish there was some way of getting her hooked up with Teagan.  She'd be a good match for him!

That would have been an awesome match indeed!  Even Neria can ALMOST approve of this...but she still gets Teagan in the end...(at least in my head).
