I heard a party banter that I think is different for a hardened vs unhardened Alistair (either that or I've simply not remembered it correctly from hearing it in the past). It's between Alistair and Zevran, where Alistair asks Zev what he plans to do after the Blight. I'm paraphrasing here, but it went something like this:

Zev: Well, you're going to be King, and you might need someone killed.

Ali: Yes, I am, and perhaps I might.

I was shocked because there have been other banters after hardening him that are identical to unhardened convos, which don't make a lot of sense from Alistair's new point of view on life.
