Heh, if I knew how, I'd mod ME2 to have Alistair as a crew member and LI, to hell with Alenko and the others. ;)

Image IPBAn oldie from the Kaidan thread.

Alistair is okay, but Garrus is well awesome.
Even if I get told that Shep/Garrus is "bestiality". Sometimes I went to Gibbs slap people through the internet.

lol Giggles, too funny. :)

I thought the Garrus romance was amusing, but not enough to it.

Mmm. I was half expecting:

"Why don't we skip ahead to the tie breaker? We can test your reach, and my flexibility"
"Can it wait for a bit? I'm in the middle of some calibrations"
"..."

They should have cut out Jacob's romance and put those resources into Garrus' really.

I just could not believe how bad the Jacobmance was. I literally went from:

To:

Then:

Then closed with this:

And I was just watching it on Youtube.

lol Giggles, I haven't watched it on Youtube, the few times I attempted it, just decided it wasn't worth the aggravation.

And Garrus is awesome, but I thought they left a lot out in ME2.

But, given a choice between Garrus and Alistair? Alistair each time. :)

Possibly :P

Yes it has, but there are big debates there every once in a while.

Most debates are quite empty though now, the haters all seem to have moved on.

Still have to get to level 60 on ME1.
I sodding hate the mako

I never got to 60 in ME1, I got sucked into DAO before I did that.

Yeah Dragon Age has far more draw for me than ME does.

I like Sci-fi dont get me wrong, but I much prefer Dragon Age.

Think the main thing ME has over DA is they dragged out the story for three games. Which might not sound great but if they did that for DA:Origins? {drools}

The only problem is that it made ME2 really weak compared to ME1.

They claim that ME3 will be great, and totally different on your choices. Like ME2 was, and we all know how that turned out.

Well, DAO is meant to be an introduction to the DA setting if I understand things correctly. If the story of Origins was dragged out over 3 games, I probably wouldn't have continued playing.

Don't get me wrong, I love the ME setting, but ME2 had a lot of story issues for me and I'm just hoping they make up for it in ME3.

Though admittedly I'm a little nervous about the way DA2 may go.

I'll believe it when I see it. The telling thing with ME3 will be whether they bring the ME2 squad back or if they get reduced to cameos regardless. If they aren't in ME3 in a big way, ME2 was kind of pointless.

Oh dragging it out for more games may well have cheapened it etc. But the amount i love origins i would have happily had more time with it. Im sure i'll love my FemHawke though

To stay a bit on topic

I honestly don't feel like you got very far against the Reapers in ME2. Sure the Collectors were a threat, but I don't think they were a big enough threat to have that much time devoted to them. Honestly most of the game made think of the terms of Pokemon "Gotta get 'em all" or whatever it is in the terms of getting squadmates.

Edit: Admittedly 3 games of Alistair...

Hm, tempting, but that would probably kill it if they dragged DAO out the way they are with ME.

No, thats what i mean. If they can drag out ME they could have easily lengthened the Origins tale

I mean, ME2 was basically recruiting lol oh and making them like you

So by the ME story, they could have divided Origins by 'Finding out about oncoming blight/recruiting allies/defeating blight lol

ME2 actually had a point?
Besides to reset Shepard?
Railroad us into working for pro-human Extremists, without a second though?
Punch holes in the fabric of space-plot?
Show us spandex wedgies?
To Pew-Pew where every other generic TPS has pew-pewed before?

Ok Ill stop.

To show us where baby terminators come from?
<_<

I was more bothered by the fact they're only just showing up now, and everyone reacts to them as if they were always there. They just fill a near indentical role to the Geth in ME1.

Still, I've yet to understood why immortal death robots who have existed for countless milenia are in such a hurry to invade. Wait a few decades for Shepard to die of old age, problem solved.
